Chapter-2 (Tulips)

At Meher's House

Author's Pov:

"Assalamualaikum mumma,main Ghar aagyi" Meher said in a barely audible voice because she was very tired after the whole day of struggle she did in her school.

"Walekum assalam, meri shehzadi boht mehnat krke aayi h....ajao mai khana lagadeti hun"Mariyam said with a warm smile.

After some time she came in her comfortable clothes and had her lunch with her ammi.

After the lunch she went to her room and took a nap but not before completing her homework.

....

It was Evening time when she was having great time with her father and then she suddenly said"Babaa aap mere liyee aaj tulips nii layee?"with a pout on her face.

"Meri laadli ke liye main tulips na laaun Aisa hosakta hai kya,meri Jaan"? Zaviyar said with a huge grin on his face.

Then he gave his daughter her favourite 'White Tulips' which he has brought and then he pecked her forehead and went to his room.

Meher was beyond happy cause she loves tulips and her father never forget to bring it everyday for her and she loves her father more than anything...

...

It was Night and Meher was having her dinner...after her dinner she went to her room and then she started organising her book shelf and her school bag according to her next day subject's schedule.

Suddenly her eyes snapped towards her tiffin box which she had forgotten to take out from her bag.

"Mumma aap na kalse mujhe bas Chinese khana banakr dena tiffin mein kyunki mene apne ek dost se kehdiya h ki woh kalse mera tiffin khayega aur mai uska" She said to her mother as she entered into the kitchen to keep the tiffin back for washing.

"Kyun bacche, Aisa kyu bola tumnee?" Mariyam asked with a confused look.

"Woh mumma mera jo dost hai na zubi usey na sabzii ya fir Ghar ka normal khana ni pasand ata hai
Aur usey apke hath ka Chinese khana boht pasand ata hai isliye please kalse aap wahi dedena humdono milkar khalenge" Meher said with her pleading eyes.

At Zubair's House

"Nahi ammi aaj bhook nahi hai please mujhe mat daanto naa, kalse pakka khaaunga" said Zubair with a frown on his face

"Beta aaj tumhaare abbu ko aane do shikayat lagaati hun tumhaari, hamesha junk food khaate ho aur jab ghar aate ho toh kehte ho bhook nahi hai" Rabiya said with a slight scolding tone.

"Meri pyaari ammi please abbu ko mat boliye, mai kalse aisa nahi karunga, promise" Zubair said while showing his puppy eyes to his mother

"Aise hi mujhe aankhein dikhaa ke blackmail karte ho tum zubair, aur phir agle din wahi kaam karte ho, lekin chalo aakhri baar yaqeen kar rahi hun, ab agar aisa karoge toh tumhaare abbu se bol kar tumhaari pitaai lagwaungi" Rabiya said.

After some time when zubair was doing his homework then only Rabiya entered his room and asked him,"Beta aaj tumne tiffin khaya hai?" Rabiya said with a shock on her face.

"Nahi ammi, mai nahi meri dost ne khaya, aur kal se wahi khayegi aur mujhe badle mein uski tiffin milegi, kyunki woh Chinese aur Italian khaana laati hai har din aur mujhe bohat pasand hai" said Zubair with a huge grin on his face.

"Zubair tumhaari tabiyat toh thik hai, tumhaari koi dost hai!!! Woh bhi ladki!!!" Rabiya said with a shocked look on her face.

Although she have already heard it previously but this is not what she was expecting that Zubair accepted a girl friendship for more than one day

because she knows very well that Zubair is not a simple boy as he doesn't like to be around girls because he thinks girls are nothing but a headache, he thinks that girls only cry all the time and are mostly silly, but what she was noticing now left her utterly shocked.

"Lekin ammi meher aisi nahi hai jaisa mai samajhta hun har girls ko, woh toh bohat intelligent hai aur mujhe acchi baatein sikhaati hai aur woh baaki girls ki tarah roti bhi nahi hai, bohat strong hai meri dost"

this was something unexpected for Rabiya, she was unable to ignore this sudden change in Zubair's behaviour

but then she said "Lekin pata nahi tum kab tak ussey dosti rakhoge, kyunki tum kisi bhi ladki se baat nahi karte"Rabiya said with a unbelievable look

, "Nahi ammi mai ussey kabhi dosti nahi todunga, woh bohat intelligent hai aur baaki ladkiyon jaise roti nahi hai" with this zubair closed his notebook and went to sleep as he was having school next morning.
