It is 3 o'clock in the morning and Jisoo is wondering why someone is knocking at the door this time. She looks through the peephole and to her surprise, her girlfriend, Chaeyoung is the one who knocks.
"Hey, what are you doing here? You have a celebratory party for your company in Singapore, right?" Jisoo asks when she opened the door.
"Yeah, I snuck out of it besides, dad can handle it and I miss you so much. It's been awhile since we spent time together. Did I wake you though?" Chaeyoung says as they enter Jisoo's unit.
"No, I'm still working on a project. I was supposed to surprise you, but you beat me to it. The jet lag must have been bad?" Jisoo says as they sit on the couch.
"What project is that? Are you trying to pull an all-nighter when you're supposed to surprise me?! You should rest already. Not really. I'm used to it." Chaeyoung says as she pulls Jisoo to her room.
"Well, I have this idea for a video game I want to play. So I'm preparing the over-all aspect of it. Maybe yes? I'll just sleep in the plane if my plan to surprise you is not canceled. Maybe you should freshen up first before we go to bed." Jisoo says as she organizes her things on her work table.
After 10 minutes, Chaeyoung lays down beside Jisoo.
"So, how was your day?" Jisoo asks as she cuddles Chaeyoung.
"It was good. The topics at the party are still about business and it bores me. So I snuck out and thought that it is a good chance to go back here, to South Korea and to finally spend time with you. How about you?" Chaeyoung says as she lays her head on Jisoo's chest.
"Busy and tiring day at the company and with my personal project. Turns out great because you're here with me. I still couldn't believe that you beat me to my surprise. In the end, I'm the one who's surprised." Jisoo says and kisses the top of Chaeyoung's head.
"And you still manage to squeeze in that project of yours?!" Chaeyoung says and pinches Jisoo's side.
"Ouch! The ideas are overflowing so I need to record and write it up or else I'll forget about it. How about I'll take some days off, to make up with you? How long are you going to have a vacation?" Jisoo asks as she rubs the part Chaeyoung pinches.
"Fine. I'll take a week off work. Let's sleep. You're tired." Chaeyoung says and closes her eyes.
"Hey, where's my good night kiss?" Jisoo asks and pouts. Chaeyoung opens her eyes and chuckles. She then kissed Jisoo's lips.
"Good night, love." Chaeyoung says.
"Good night, love. Dream of me tonight." Jisoo says and tightens her hug to Chaeyoung.
