The school started again after a two day holiday from exams. I talked to my teacher about my results (I was curious about my scores since my exams went well) to which my teacher was surprised and happy that I have improved (she must be proud heh~). But it wasn't possible without her...So that day I thought to thank her by giving a nice treat. Also I felt bad for her, she has to go through such superstitions and take up blame for all the mis-happenings. It was stuck in my mind, I couldn't even imagine myself in her place, she has gone through a lot. So I messaged her regarding the same but I got seen-zoned (╥﹏╥). I guess I will talk to her properly regarding this tomorrow in school. The school started again, the same old morning with students entering through the school gate and me responding to the greetings from my juniors upon entering the school.

I was in a good mood too, since I was out of danger that I am gonna fail, Now I can play qualifiers for volleyball in upcoming tournament. Me and my team have been practicing for this day since very long! I walked towards my classroom. In between, there is the playground with a walking pavement towards its right which leads us to our main school building, a cricket practice match was going on in the playground. While I was walking over the pavement I saw a glimpse. 'Is it....' Yess it was Ruhi!. I increased my walking pace and thought of scaring her from behind. As I was just a few inches behind her- "WATCH OUTTTTT!!!!!" A player yelled from the ground. I immediately turned around and saw a cricket ball heading towards Ruhi very fast. Usually my reflex action as a player would be to catch that ball but my body...it moved on its own I don't know why but I immediately hugged Ruhi from behind and shielded her from the ball. *Thwack* The ball hit me hard on the side of my left eye. It was paining like hell, I fell on ground and people nearby gathered around me. I tried opening my eyes, my vision from the left eye was all red. I was bleeding from inside of the eye, it was too painful to open my eyes so I remained it shut.

I was immediately taken to the infirmary, and got the basic first-aid, later on shifted to a hospital. I was given sedatives to lessen the pain while I underwent the treatment (I was half asleep). But why...how did this happen? Is it... because of her...The bad luck!, what her mother said was true? My volleyball selection...Now I won't be able to play and qualify! I was mad angry, but because of medicines eventually I slept in the hospital bed.
