s the night wore on and the drinks flowed freely, In-Sung and his friends found themselves reminiscing about the past. Laughter filled the air as they shared stories and jokes, enjoying each other's company.
"Incredible, isn't it?" In-Sung remarked, a smile playing on his lips. "Ever since we turned decent, the world seems to have gone upside down."
His friends chuckled in agreement, raising their glasses in a toast to their newfound respectability.
In-Sung and his friends found themselves in the midst of a dangerous mission, pursued by a rival mafia group through the chaotic streets of Seoul. Cars careened around corners as the chase escalated, adrenaline pumping through their veins.
On a crowded street, disaster struck. A woman darted out into the road, and before In-Sung could react, his car collided with her. In-Sung slammed on the brakes and rushed out of the car, heedless of his friends' warnings.
Seung-Ryeong called out to him, urging him to stay put, but In-Sung ignored her pleas. He approached the injured woman, extending a helping hand as he guided her to sit on a nearby bench.
In-Sung's friends hesitated, torn between their loyalty to him and the urgency of their mission. Sung-Kyun urged In-Sung to leave, but In-Sung signaled for them to wait, his attention fully focused on the injured girl.
"Are you okay?" In-Sung asked, concern etched into his features.
The girl nodded weakly, insisting that she was fine and urging him to hurry on his way. In-Sung sighed deeply, apologizing for the accident and promising to return.
With a final glance at the girl, In-Sung returned to the car, his heart heavy with guilt and worry. But duty called, and he knew they couldn't afford to linger.
The sun was bright and the air crisp as In-Sung walked towards the place where he had last seen the girl. His heart raced with anticipation and a slight touch of nervousness. Would she be there again? As he rounded the corner, there she was, sitting on a bench with a book in her hands and glasses perched on her nose. He couldn't help but smile.
In-Sung adjusted his sunglasses, took a deep breath, and walked over to her. Standing in front of her, he cast a shadow that made her look up. He offered a warm smile.
"Hi, I'm the guy from yesterday," In-Sung said gently.
The girl looked at him with a curious expression before nodding in acknowledgement.
"How are you doing?" In-Sung asked, hoping to start a conversation.
"I'm well, thank you. I just can't walk that much," she replied, gesturing to the stick support next to her.
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that," In-Sung said, a look of genuine concern crossing his face. "Can I drive you to where you need to go?"
She smiled politely. "It's okay, I can take the subway."
"At least let me carry your things to the subway station," In-Sung offered, picking up her belongings before she could protest.
The girl smiled again, this time with a hint of amusement. "Alright, thank you."
As they started walking towards the subway, the girl turned to him. "What's your name?"
"I'm Kim Byungdoo," he said with a playful grin. "What about you?"
