Before You Read

DEAR READERS, HELLO!

Welcome to my newest little work- Heartfelt Transitions. This story is going to be everything I have ever wanted to read in romance and whatever I have ever liked in romance.

I know this work is going to be a completely different tone and opposite from my previous works-- but I needed this. I needed a change of pace from the emotionally heavy and extrinsic-conflict-driven plot.

The gist and magic of the book is in the little moments. The little things.

Before you read, here are the descriptions for appearances of characters (in case you want them) since I don't usually like to force them in narrative if they don't fit, but they seem to be integral in the genre as a whole.

Main leads;

Adaira Sinclair: Shoulder-length raven black hair. Black eyes. 5'5. 

James Rosemonde: Brown hair. Chocolate-honey-brown eyes. Rosy lips. Scrawny. 5'9.

Reoccurring side characters will be described when needed, but feel free to run wild with your imagination.

THE STORY CONTAINS:

Friends to lovers burn. Sunshine x grumpy dynamic (the guy is the sunshine one). High school setting (characters are 17-18). Black cat x golden retriever dynamic.

THE STORY DOES NOT CONTAIN:

Smut. Red flag leads. Problematic ideas about romance.

NOW, IMPORTANT NOTE:

The book is fast paced at first, slowing down after chapter six or seven. It is also currently the very first draft, unedited and non-revised version I am uploading. Which isn't really wise. But uploading it somewhere helps me maintain a schedule. So watch me, uh, cook live I guess.
