Karina's outfit is above!
chapter five.
"So, he knows?"
Karina looked up at her mom and nodded her head, "I mean I had to tell him. I made someone fall unconscious with the wave of my hand and from what I heard he's okay."
Aurora nodded her head and continued washing the dishes, "How did Ty take it?"
"As good as he could." Karina sighed, "He said to give him time and I can do that... I'm just..."
"Afraid." Aurora finished for her, and Karina nodded, "Rina, Tyler just needs to absorb this all."
"And what if I've just lost my only real friend by telling him the truth?" Karina asked her mom with watery eyes. "What if he decides that it's too much and doesn't want to be around me anymore?"
Aurora shut off the water and dried off her hands before pulling Karina into her arms and hugging her tightly, "Hey, no." She shushed her softly as Karina began to cry. "Tyler wouldn't do that, you know him. He's loyal and he cares about you, he'll stand by you. Just let him take all of it in."
Karina could only nod against her mother as she had nothing else to really believe. She could let her thoughts consume her and let her overthink everything with her best friend or she could believe her mother, something she'd always do.

Karina found herself beside Bonnie at The Grill while Stefan sat across from them.
"A daylight ring?" Karina asked confused, "Who the fuck died?"
"Caroline." Stefan said and Karina shot both him and Bonnie a look. "Katherine killed her, and she had Damon's blood in her system."
"Okay, okay wow." She laughed softly, "And you think I'd help someone that I hate just as much as Damon?"
"Karina." Stefan pleaded.
"I don't know how to make a day-walking ring." Bonnie jumped in knowing that Karina was about to go off on him.
"Emily made mine, she made Damon's too, instructions must be in the grimoire." Stefan said to her.
Bonnie shook her head, "That doesn't mean I can cast the spell."
"Bonnie," Stefan cleared his throat, "You know how to drop vampires with a single look, okay? I think you can figure it out."
Bonnie sucked in a breath before speaking, "Caroline attacked someone Stefan."
"Woah, wait what?" Karina questioned, "Who?"
"Some carnival worker." Stefan explained briefly before looking back at Bonnie. "Bonnie, she needs to learn control."
"So, I'm just supposed to make it easier for her to attack someone again?" Bonnie asked him disbelief.
"No, we're not making it easier for her; we're just giving her the chance to survive." Stefan defended her, "Listen, every day that she's cut off from her old life: from you, from Elena, from Matt, it'll make it that much harder for her to hold on to her humanity."
Bonnie narrowed her eyes at him, "And how do you know she won't hurt anyone else?"
"How about by giving her the benefit of the doubt?" Karina asked her sharply. "I mean, this is your fault Bonnie."
"Karina." Bonnie snapped at her, "Why are you even here if you're just going to attack me?"
Karina glared at her and looked between both her and Stefan, "Yes, why am I here? Because I can easily cast the spell, but you know I won't. Not for Caroline or anyone for that matter." Karina snapped, "You fucked up Bonnie, Caroline being killed and used against you guys is your fault. So why am I here Stefan because you know I won't help her."
