"Minho! Minho!" Young Hyunjin ran up to his best friend and showed him the dandelion he picked up.
"Look! Isn't it beautiful!" Hyunjin held it out for Minho to see.
"I heard that if you blow on it and make a wish, it will, come true." Young Minho said.
"Really? Then let's make a wish together!" Young Hyunjin said.
"Okay!"
They both closed their eyes and thought of a wish. Then they blew it together and watched the dandelion seeds fly away with the wind.
"Wow it's so pretty!" Young Hyunjin said.
"I know!"
"Minho! Hyunjin! It's lunch time dears!" Mrs. Hwang said.
"Race you!" Young Minho said.
"Not if I beat you to it!" Young Hyunjin said.
They ran back to the castle and Minho made it there first.
"Hey!!!!" Young Hyunjin stomped his foot in anger.
"Beat you again!" Young Minho bragged.
"Wait until we're older. I'll definitely beat you." Young Hyunjin said.
They ate their lunch and went to Minho's room. They both sat down on Minho's bed.
"It is okay if I give you a nickname? I give nicknames to special people in my life, and you're a special person in my life." Young Hyunjin said.
"Okay then!" Young Minho said cheerfully.
"How about.....hm...." Young Hyunjin thought.
"Minnie!"
"No! I sound like a cartoon character." Young Minho said.
"How about, min!"
"No, that's dumb." Young Minho said.
"Hm.. how about, Minmin?"
"Okay then! Should I give you one too?" Young Minho asked.
"Sure! I don't mind!" Young Hyunjin said.
"How about Jinnie?"
"Sure! Minmin and Jinnie! Forever!" They held up their pinkies and locked it together. Minho and Hyunjin smiled at each other.
Time skip to ages 11 and 12
