A man and a woman walk along an empty road on a hill. The woman stares at a phone in her hand while the man keeps his eyes forward.

"You really shouldn't be on your phone while we're walking, it's dangerous." The man smiles at the woman next to him.

"I wouldn't be on it if we knew where we were going. Besides, no cars are on the road, so I'm sure I'll be fine." The woman sighs while tapping her phone gently.

She taps a few more times on the glass screen before feeling herself being moved, perking up at the touch of the man's hands on her shoulders.

He gently guides her body to the other side of his before booking forward again. "Hey, why'd you move me..." The woman trails off when she notices a teenage girl on a bike slowly driving past the two.

"Oh,"

The man calls out to her before the girl can get any farther from the two.  "Hey, you." He turns to the teenager. "Got a sec?"

The bike the girl was on comes to a stop as she turns toward the man.

"Can you help me, me and my friend are looking for ruins?" He smiles at her while pointing to the woman next to him.

"Ruins?" The girl questions.

"Specifically a door." He hums.

"Um... well, there's a little abandoned town," The girl on the bike points behind the man. "Over by that mountain..."

"I see, thank you." The man bows his head slightly while smiling.

"Ah, thank you very much, miss." The woman next to him bows as well. The two begin to walk away from the teenager as the woman complains. "Jeez Souta, you could've just asked me to move instead of dragging me."

"Yes I could have, but you probably would have told me to stop bothering you, isn't that right Rain?" The man teases the woman.

"Hey! Don't give me that sly smile!" The woman shouts and points a finger. While the two bicker, the girl from before watches them carefully as their figures fade into the distance. "Huh?"

She slowly turns around and bikes in the opposite direction of the duo, carefully but quickly pedaling to a train stop that crosses the path to her school. As she waits for the train her thoughts wander back to the strange yet beautiful man and woman that she had encountered earlier. 'Why were they searching for a door?' She questions before the sound of her name being called interrupts her thoughts.

"Suzume! You awake?" A girl around the same age as Suzume taps her shoulder.

Suzume nods to the girl. "Morinin', Aya."

"You know your cheeks are super pink, right?" Aya observes her friend.

"What? Seriously?" Suzume quickly covers her cheeks with her hands. "Yep." Aya nods.

Soon the train quickly passes, allowing everyone who was waiting to cross the tracks. Suzume stays seated on her bike. Aya quickly takes notice of Suzume's weird behavior and stops in her tracks to turn to her friend.

"You coming or not?" She questions.

"Uh, sorry I forgot something!" Suzume quickly turns her bike around and pedals away.
