The Rivalry

Mingyu's pov.

"Gyu  can you please attend a funeral" said my father from the other side of the call " you know dad  i don't like to attend stranger funeral like who would even like to" i negotiate," but gyu they are not stranger especially not to you , remember the lovely beta couple that lived accross the street , they had a son named something like wonwoo who studied with you , well they particularly met with an accident , and died on spot. Well we can't attend it as we are currently working on a project overseas, and you have already reached Boston right so please do is this small favour "  I was little confused but as soon as my father took the name of the small omega who was particularly my biggest rivalry even though I never thought of him as my Rivalry it was always him , i really wanted to see him at this point as I was in foreign for almost 2 year and never heard anything about him and this could be the best opportunity to meet him i thought and agreed to attend the funeral.

At funeral...

As I reached the funeral and bowed to the grave of the deceased couple. I started to look around to find familiar body but it was nowhere to be found until I saw a small body curled up in the corner and by looking at his size i know it was him for sure. I went near him and heard small sniffing sound.

Wonwoo's pov.

After hearing the news from the maid I was in complete disbelief like my parents who loved me and took care of me like there own child, even though I hated them when they mated me to daniel but it was not there fault because in their eyes he was like an angel . " I want to see them , please do something" I pleaded to the maid knowing the fact that it was not in his control , so I just let my tears flow . "Sir , i need to go mr Daniel is here " he said and went away. I gather myself and went downstairs even though I stumbled multiple times and finally find my way towards daniel who was on the sofa . " Daniel "  I called out him but it didn't work as my voice was so low so I went and sat in from of him  "daniel please let me go I want to see them "  I said with tears in my eyes " Where the hell you want to go and to meet whom huh ----oh your beloved parents i remember but do you think I'll let you go"  he said with a devilish smirk on his face , how could a person be so cruel and demonic I thought  " daniel please let me go this time I want to see th--em one----last --ti----me "  i broke out in between the sentence . "Oh the little slut want to go , go but remember the consequence "  he said while clenching my chin , i nodded and went away  and thought that even if I don't go it would be same so i went upstairs and cleaned my self and hissed every time the water touched my skin I was not even able to use the soap due to the extreme weakness, i went outside and saw the maid standing outside "  Sir Mr Daniel went outside he said he had some important meeting"  i sighed in relief " can you please arrange a --"  before I could speak i stumbled and fell on the floor but I somehow managed to speak again "  please arrange me a cab "  i could see the concern in his eyes but I just nodded.

At funeral...

I somehow managed to get inside eventhough the driver helped me to reach the room . I went there and instead of going in front of my parents picture, I went beside the confines of my parents and the moment I saw them tears wre flowing constantly as I missed and internally I envy them like how could they give me to monster and rest here in peace .  As I was crying beside them I felt a humanly presence  infront of me and i knew it from the smell of oakwood who he was  he was "Kim Mingyu "  my biggest rivalry since childhood, I was shocked that he recognised me or maybe not .... I didn't react to his presence until he called out my name " hey little kitty"  he used to call me since high school. I dare not look up as I was afraid that it would expose my bruised skin , I was just covering them with hat and glasses. But I was forced to look up as he held my chin and gently lifted up my face  our eyes met and i could see  the soft puppy eyes which I hated the most  ,My hate was not because he bullied me he never did but it was about competition and he was the reason I was always dragged to last no matter what it was , he looked in my eyes i could see the shocked expression on his face . The moment he blurted words from his mouth " what happened to you "  god knows what got into me i hugged him tightly and began to cry , he knew that it was a huge mess . He calmed me down and sat beside me .  "Did your parents did this "  he asked out of nowhere . I moved my head in the motion of disagreement because my strength of speaking was almost dead at this point. "  So what happened to you, kitty"  he asked in a more serious tone than before.  I was about to answer but I froze for a moment as I saw a familiar figure walking towards me , mingyu try to move me but my eyes were fix on the person moving towards me I wish I could just disappear somewhere but I couldn't the room was empty as people were long gone , it was just me and Mingyu and Daniel who was walking towards me . I know it's going to be hell as I was almost curled up against mingyu's chest and Daniel was infront of me . Before I could explain anything he grabbed me from mingyu's arms and throw me on the floor but before he could do anything he was stopped by mingyu's punch landing on his face this was not right  I said to myself I pleaded to mingyu to stop a loud cry came from my mouth " HE IS MY MATE MINGYUU!! STOP IT"  I said  because I was worried not for daniel but for Mingyu..
