Katie: Courage! Looks like it's that time of week again: Bath time!

Courage: [his pupils shrink]

Katie: Come on, let's go get the water started. You're gonna have to get in that tub, Courage. Now, Courage, we can do this the hard way, or the easy way, or the medium way, or the semi-medium-easy-hard way, or the sorta hard with a touch of awkward-easy-difficulty-challenging way...

[Courage just stares]

Katie: So that's how you wanna play it, huh?

(Scene transitions to Katie holding something for Courage)

Katie: Courage! Check out this new toy. Fetch! [throws the ball to Courage. The toy boomerangs back to Katie and she reads the box] Huh? "New" Boomerang Pet Ball: Really Works! Hmmm. [throws the box but it boomerangs back and hits her in the head]

(Scene transitions to Katie running to Courage)

Katie: [with a bomb strapped to her chest] Courage! There's a bomb strapped to my chest! It's gonna explode in 3 seconds unless you take a bath!

Courage: (doesn't react as he knows it's a fake bomb full of confetti)

Katie: Please...? [the bomb explodes with lots of confetti]

(Scene cuts to Katie moving her hands in a circular motion in front of Courage)

Katie: I am now going to assault your mind with subliminal messages!

[Pictures of a bathtub, a shower faucet running, and then a bar of soap come up, then a disturbing picture of Ed in a dress appears.]

Katie: Sorry you had to see that.

(Scene cuts to Katie calling someone on the phone while Courage looks at her)

Katie: [on the phone] Hello, Fancy Korean Restaurant? I've got a naughty dog here who won't take a bath. [a person on the other side is talking] What? Can you say that again?

[Courage walks away]

Katie: Slow down! It's like you're speaking some other language! [hangs up]

(Scene cuts to Katie hopping around)

Katie: Hey, Courage! How 'bout some leapfrog? Wee-hee! Okay, your turn. [flips Courage into the wall, he screams and gets hurt, then we see Courage all bandaged] Hey, Courage! How 'bout some leapfrog?

[Courage whacks her on the head with an umbrella]

(We cut to Katie flipping a quarter)

Katie: I've got a nice quarter for the next fella to take a bath in this house! [Eddy comes in taking a bath then takes Katie's quarter]

(Scene cuts to Katie dancing while Courage sits and watches her)

Katie: Ya-da-da-da... [stops dancing] That didn't work either, huh?

[Next scene, Courage is sleeping. Katie, who is dressed as a pirate, runs to Courage, who wakes up]

Katie: Courage! Courage! Look what I found! It's an old, pirate treasure map revealing a location of buried pirate treasure in this very house! Come on, boy, let's go get that treasure! Whoo! Okay, Gary, now forty paces to the left. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten... twenty-four, twenty-five, twenty-six, twenty-seven.... [nervously looks at Courage] Forty. The treasure must be in here! [opens the bathroom door] Wow, Courage, look! A pirate treasure chest!

Courage: That's your tub.

Katie: Why, no, Courage, this isn't the bathtub. [kicks away a paint can] It's treasure! Look, doubloons! [shows two bars of soap] My sister's friends like to joke about not dropping them, I don't get it. Maybe when I'm older. [shows a rubber ducky] Look at this brooch!

Courage: What would a dog like me need a brooch?

Katie: I don't know what a dog would want with a brooch! Now why don't you just get into the tub?! [tries to throw Courage in the tub but is on Katie] Get in the tub! [tries to throw Courage in the tub but is unsuccessful again] Get in the tub! [tries to throw Courage in the tub but is unsuccessful again] Get in the tub! [tries to throw Courage in the tub but is unsuccessful again] In the tub! [tries to throw Courage in the tub but is unsuccessful again] In the tub! [tries to throw Courage in the tub but he floats over the tub, and appears back on the floor after two seconds]

Katie: Now, Courage, are you gonna get in this tub or am I gonna have to... [pulls up Courage off the floor but both end up dangling from the ceiling] Courage, could you... [Courage climbs up to safety, tickles Katie's hands and she loses her grip] Courage, no! [Courage tickles Katie's other hand] Courage! [falls into the tub] Alright, Courage, you have duped and/or frustrated me for the last time! So, if I can't get you to come to the bath, I'll just have to bring the bath to you. [she gets two water guns and fills them up]

(Scene cuts to Courage in the living room reading a Clifford The Big Red Dog book)

Courage: Wow, who knew so much love could make a dog so big.

Katie: Psst, Courage. Bath delivery! [shoots water at Courage but misses and hits the couch instead] Come back, Courage! I have something to "chair" with you. [shoots more water at Courage but misses and hits dirty dishes, which cleans and stacks them] "Dish" is more like it! "Water" you waiting for, Courage?

Courage: [yelping in a tree]

Katie: (Gets a ladder and climbs up it to the top of the tree) Aww, stuck in a tree? It's time to clean up your act, Courage! [shoots out water at Courage but realizes it's one of her plushie dogs and a radio playing a tape of Courage's yelps] Oh no! I bathed Courage too hard and removed his fur!

Courage: [Laughs while humming mockingly, takes the ladder off the tree]

Katie: Courage! Bring that ladder back this instant! [the ladder falls down] I am really not amused, mister. You are going to take a bath and you are going to get clean right now!

Courage: You're not the boss.

Katie: I am so the boss of you!

Courage: Free country though.

Katie: It may be a free country, but you live in our house under our rules.

Courage: Can't I have a couple more minutes?

Katie: Don't use that tone of voice with me. You will do what I say when I say.

[Courage walks forward]

Katie: What are you doing? I am talking to you, mister!

[Courage stops right next to some mud]

Katie: Do not go near that mud puddle! Courage the Dog, do you hear me? I am giving you three seconds to get away from that mud puddle! One, [Courage moves closer to the mud] two, [Courage moves closer to the mud] two and a half... [Courage leans over the mud] don't make me say three! [Courage leans further over the mud] Courage! Courage! Courage! Courage! [falls out of the tree and into the mud] I'm a dirty girl...

[We cut to Katie who is now in the bathtub getting bathed by her big sister, Kylie]

Kylie: Ears, Katie.

Katie: Yeah, yeah, Sis. [scrubs her ears] I'm getting behind my ears.

[Courage grins as the episode ends]
