Crack
The glass shattered into pieces under his coarse hand, with the sharp edges piercing right through the textures of his skin.
The blood mixed with the red liquid begins trailing down his palm, and drop by drop it falls on his covered thighs. If it were anyone else, they must be running around, panicking and in pain but by chance it happens to be Kim Taehyung, whose expression remained stony, almost as if it was a feather and not a glass that had brushed against his palm.
His sister had long left, leaving him alone to face the thoughts that he had tried to suppress for so long. For so long he had tried to ignore the reality but now the fate itself had decided to meddle with his life. He knew he was not ready, not until he had fully planned out every little detail in his plan, but looks like life is not patient enough.
He dropped the broken glass on the floor, and it crumbled into more shiny pieces. Taehyung found it beautiful, call him a psycho! But it's not his fault that he was raised that way. He found comfort in breaking things; he loved it when those broken things were stained by his blood, just like the shattered glass on the floor.
Grabbing the clean napkin from the table, he pressed it directly over his bleeding cut. A soft whimper left his lips, but it was all, nothing more. He pulled out a few more tissues and pressed them on his wound until the bleeding had stopped. the blood-stained tissues also fell on the floor over the scattered crystals of glass. He filled another glass with the same red liquor and gulped it down.
"Uff~" A voice muttered. Taehyung looked up, his senses going feral at once upon hearing a sudden voice. But he relaxed when he saw a familiar.
It was Jimin.
The drink must have started acting upon his nervous system, he thought, nevertheless, he took one more sip of his drink.
"It's so messy...and bloody here" Jimin scrunched his nose as his eyes caught sight of everything, even his dark red bruise. Taehyung didn't say anything, instead, he stirred the drink in his glass. Jimin seated himself on the stool opposite to the male. He was here to confront the other male but now it seems like he will have to comfort him and then maybe confront him.
"Look man, I don't know who deceived you but just know that I am here for you and I ca-FUCK I CAN'T DO THIS COMFORTING SHIT! WHY DO YOU KEEP HIDING SHIT FROM ME?! Jimin's voice came out as a frustrated scream
Taehyung was not surprised, instead, a small smile appeared on his face. Jimin has yet again proved why he was the best in his line of work because he had never left things to one's imagination and Taehyung admired this quality of his. No wonder he couldn't hide things from Jimin for too long because he would dig things out even if they were six feet under (quite literally) just to confirm his suspicion. The day Jimin had laid eyes on Jungkook, Taehyung was sure that nothing could stop him from collecting pieces of the mosaic that he had ever so intricately designed.
"Want a drink?" Taehyung flexed his expensive liquor bottle.
"Want a punch?" Jimin offered back, making Taehyung chuckle.
"Damn, you sound serious-"
"That's cause I am! Now speak up before I shove this bottle up your asscheeks!" Jimin deadpanned.
Taehyung chuckled harder but raised his both hands in surrender, "Okay, okay! I will tell you everything but-"
Jimin glared.
" -not here" Taehyung finished his sentence and his drink simultaneously. He got up from the stool which he had occupied for the last two hours. His legs have become stiff and he stumbled a little. "Let's go. I think I will have to get stitches on the way too."
