Shahneel:-Hey guys let's video call our families and tell them they will be very happy.

Shubman:No no no di.

Shahneel:-Why?

Meera:-We will tell them in person. We don't want to tell them about us on video call.

Shahneel:-Toh tum dono chalo mere saath Mohali.

Shubman:-What?

Shahneel:-Yeah after 2 days i have my flight. U guys also get your tickets booked.

Meera:-But Shahneel....

Shahneel:-Koi but nhi u guys are coming with me and that's final.

Shubman:-Ohk we will come with u.

Meera:-Ok i guess that's the most right thing to do right now.

Shubman and Meera booked their tickets for Mohali.
2 days later they both travelled to Mohali with Shahneel. Their parents didn't know that Meera and Shubman are also coming to Mohali. As they landed at Mohali airport Shahneel texted her parents to be present at Meera's home. As they reached Meera's home she rang the doorbell her mother opened the door and was surprised to see Meera standing as she wasn't expecting her at this moment.

Meera's Mom:-Arey beta Meera tu yahan what a surprise.

Meera:-Sat shri akal mummy. How r u?

Meera's Mom:-I am absolutely fine. Tu kaisi aur achanak na koi phone na text? Kam se kam batati toh sahi mein tera favourite khana banake rakhti.

Meera:-Agar mein phone pe bata deti toh surprise kaise deti aapko and waise bhi aap jo bhi banate ho woh tasty hi hota h.

Shubman:-Sat shri akal aunty ji.

Meera's Mom:-Sat shri akal beta. Kaisa h tu?

Shubman:-Main ek dum theek hu aunty. Aap theek h ab.

Meera's Mom:-Beta tum dono ko dekh ab ek dum theek hu.

Meera:-Sat shri akal papa.

Meera's Dad:-Arey beta Meera kaisi h tu?

Meera:-Main ek dum badhiya. Aap kaise h?

Meera's Dad:-Ek dum jhakaas.

Shubman's Dad:-Arey Shubman aur Meera tum dono bhi aa gaye Mumbai se Shahneel ke saath chalo yeh toh badhiya kiya.

Shubman's Mom:-Haan hum sab ne tum dono ko bohat miss kiya.

Shubman:-Same here. Hum dono ki aap sab ki badi yaad aati h.

Shubman:-Actually we both want to discuss something with u.

Shubman's Dad:-Haan beta bolo.

Shubman:-Actually uhmm Meera and i are dating each other.

Shubman's Mom:- Yeh kya keh raha h tu kake.

Meera's Dad:-Meera beta tumne bilkul bhi socha nhi ki log kya kahenge ki bachpan ke dost se shaadi kr li.

Meera:-But dad i love him.

Shubman:-Yes mom and dad i love Meera. I can't live without her.

Shubman's Dad:-Bete par hum yeh rishta nahi accept kar sakte.

Meera's Mom:-Yes Meera u guys can't be together.

Meera:-But mom...(tears flowed from her eyes)

Shubman and Meera were standing in front of their families feeling completely helpless as their families didn't accept their relationship with each other. They both thought that this is the end of their relationship and they can't go against their families. Suddenly the room bursted with laughter. Shubman and Meera's eyes widened in shock and confusion as in the sudden change of atmosphere.

Meera's Dad:-Arey beta Meera tum toh ek dum udaas ho gyi. Kya parents apne bacho ke saath ek chota sa prank bhi nhi kr skte.

Shubman's Dad:-Aur kya look at your faces. Bachon we all were just kidding.

Shubman's Mom:-Yeah we all are really happy that u both r together.

Meera's Mom:-I can't think of a better guy than Shubman for my Meera.

Meera's Dad:-Tum dono apne decision se khush ho toh hum usme khush h.

Shubman's Dad:-Haanji toh ab hum kis baat ka wait kar rahe muh mitha karvaiye rishta pakka.

Shubman and Meera's happiness was on another level as their families accepted their relationship. They both were really excited to take their relationship to another level. Both of the families exchanged gifts and sweets to each other. They all sat down and laughed and planned about the wedding preparations suddenly Shahneel suggested to go for shopping the next day to buy some clothes for functions. Shubman and Meera agreed to her idea. They both were really excited to share this news to their friends.
