5. The perfect date

I stared in to the mirror looking back at my reflection.Millions of things ran through my mind,such as what if I do something stupid or what if i completely drive him away or what if I'm overdressed or what if I'm underdressed. I went with something cute but simple. A blue floral dress with a jean jacket and white flats with a couple jewelry. I curled the tips of my hair. My make-up was simple as well, i went with a neutral smokey eye, light pink lipstick, and a bit of foundation.

Ten minutes ago he texted me and said he was on my way so in a matter of minutes my doorbell should ring.Finally I stood up and and went into my living room to get a drink then sat and watched tv while I waited.Sophie my dog come prancing in. She was a half maltese half poodle. She was the cutest thing. She hoped on the couch and played with me.

Finally my doorbell rang and i quickly put a quick squirt of perfume on before opening the door.I opened the door only to see Dylan looking at his feet with one hand in his pocket and the other holding a bouquet of bright red roses.He was dresses casual but still nice, he wore a baseball tee with tan pants and his hair quiffed up. May I say he was looking fine.

His eyes met mine at last.His took a step back and looked me up in down.He must have saw my expression because I looked a bit worried."It"s not too much is it?" I asked. He looked up at me and flashed my a smile. "No no no its perfect. its amazing. you look gorgeous." I couldn't even form words to say thank you.

He handed me the rose "Oh and these are for you." he smiled. "Let me put them in a vase, you can come in." I grabbed the flowers and walked inside. Instantly Sophie ran to Dylan. I got Sophie as a Graduation present and Dylan fell in love with Sophie. Sophie was devastated when we moved and she didn't see him.I filled the vase up with water and set the flowers inside. I walked back to Dylan and told him I was ready.I locked my apartment door and we were off.

"So what did you have in mind for today." he gave me one of his signature grins "It's a surprise." He ran too my door side and opened it up for me.He ran to the other side and hoped in the car. "Dylan, you know I hate surprises!" He laughed and said "Yeah I know." I lightly punched his arm and he groaned in pain as if it actually did hurt.

We arrived at a park and immediately he ran outside to open my door. I smiled and got out the door and he grabbed my hand and guided me to a table.A picnic. It was a warm sunny day perfect for a picnic.It was so nice too sit there and catch up on the years we miss out on in each others lives. Soon the sun began too set. I didn't realize how long we sat there talking for. He brought my favorite sandwiches from Submarina and my favorite snacks and drink. Now we are laying down on a blanket in the grass doing our favorite thing we use to do when we were younger, watch the stars.As kids we always use too sit on my roof top and watch the stars. I love the stars they are just beautiful.

"Can i ask you something." Dylan turned on his side too look at me. I turned as well as we would be face to face. "Of course." I smiled. "Have you been in love yet." This question made me a little nervous if I was being honest."Honestly, I know I have." For some reason it seemed as if he was disappointed. "Have you?" I asked but automatically regretted. Dylan was in a relationship before teen wolf with a girl named britt..I don't know why they broke up though. "Um yeah I have." My heart kinda shattered in my chest.

"Anyway," he turned on his back "are you excited for the show?" I turned as well "Yeah, I can't wait too finally live on my dream." As soon as the word 'dream' let my mouth I saw a shooting star. "Look a shooting star,make a wish." I closed my eyes and wished that that boy I'm sitting next too would be mine me one day.

I checked my phone only too see that we had been at the park for more than 4 hours."Wow time really does go by, its already 10." he sat up "Geez i should probably get you home now." We quickly packed everything up and he drove me home. "I had lots of fun, thank you." I smiled and he said "No problem, i love spending time with you." Good thing it was dark i would want him too see my face, its probably as red as a tomato.

We finally reached my apartment and he walked me all the way too my door. I unlocked my door and turned around. "Thank you for everything tonight. I had a great time, I would definitely want too do this again." He grabbed me and hugged me tight. "Anything for you, Destiny." Slowly we pulled away and we stopped mid way.Our lips were so close, If I leaned in a bit our lips would be touching.We stayed that for a bit staring in one another eyes.

He looked from my eyes to my lips. Finally he began too lean in. His lips met mine and move in syc. A fire I never felt before roared in my stomach. I wanted to stay like that forever.I Pulled away a bit and we let out foreheads lean against each other.I smiled so big. I hugged him again and then let go. "drive safetly." I shut the door smiled and instantly turned too look in the peek hole. Dylan stood there for a minute touched his lips and smiled. he slowly walked away. I went to my room, took a shower and got ready. Sophie came into my room and cuddled next too me. And I played there thinking of how perfect my day was.Slowly I drifted off too sleep.

(A/N Guys i think this is my best chapter yet. I want too thank everyone who supported the idea of continuing to write.Hopefully there will be weekly updates but who knows maybe ill update in a couple days. Ill have a couple days too myself so you might get a few more chapters.Please comment what you guys thought!!)
