Laura p.o.v

BEEP BEEP BEEP!!!!!

"Uuuugggghhhhh" I groan. I slapped my alarm and the beeping stopped.

I rub my eyes and blink a few times. When did I set my alarm? Well, could have been my mom. I get up and walk very slowly to my bathroom. I do my morning routine and went back to my room with a towel wrapped around me.

Wait. The boy next door. I need curtains.

I peek from the bathroom door.

I lift my bare wrist to my mouth.

"Clear. No sign of human life. I repeat. No sign of human life. Over" I whisper with a serious tone. Yup. I'm weird like that.

I quickly walk toward my dresser. I tap my index finger to my chin. Since the school has no strict policy on clothing I can wear absolutely what I want.

I decided with a pair of skinny jeans, a purple long sleeve that shows off the shoulders and says 'GEEK'. I put a black tank top under so I don't seem like a slut. I slip on my black converse and put a black beanie on for a finishing touch.

I rush towards my mirror and but on some eyeliner. I walk to my mirror. I smile. Adorable as always. I grab my bag and headed downstairs. I saw Logan waiting by the door. Being impatient as always. I didn't bother with breakfast.

I reached up with Logan and he tossed me an apple. I thanked him and he opened the door. We decided to walk to school since neither of us had a car. We headed down the street as I ate my apple.

"You nervous?" He asked me. I gave him a shrug. Logan and I are going to senior year. Yes he may be older than me. But let's say older than me by 7 minutes. Yup he's my twin. We really don't look alike as much. I mean we got the dimples and the same green eyes and same hair color. Well used to have the same hair color.

We both have similar face structure but that's all really.

As we walked a car pulled up next to us. I gave Logan a confused look. He shrugs. We face the car. The window goes down. We come face to face to Chris Connor. He smirks.

Houston, we have a problem.

"Need a ride?" He asks. Before I can reject the offer, Logan quickly nods. I sigh.

"We are going to American high." My brother says.

Chris nods.

"Same here. Come on. Hop in."

Logan gives a grin and opens the door. I stay frozen. I don't know this guy. Why would I trust him. I shake my head.

"I'm just... gonna walk." I say. Logan gives me a sad smile and Chris gives a concerning look. I give back a small smile. I start to walk and the car follows me at a slow pace. I let out an irritated sigh.

"Yes may I help you?" I ask.

"Hop in kitten" Chris says. I look at him and Logan. I was expecting Logan to glare at him but nope. Where's the over- protective brother when you need him. I sigh and hop in the back.

I sit and buckle my seat belt and look out the window. As Chris starts driving everything on the outside is a blur. I look away from the window a listen to their conversation.

"So I was wondering if both of you would like to come to a party on Friday." Chris says. As he says that he looks at the rear view mirror and looks at me.

A party. In the first week of school. First of all, that's just plain stupid. Second, I hadn't been to one in ages.

But if he's going I will too.

Wait, what.

Before I can say anything Logan, again, beats me to it.

"Party? Cool. Yeah I'm pretty sure we can go." He says nonchalantly. I glare at him and cross my arms. Even though I love partying, I don't want to go. But my brother never says no. To be honest, he will turn up any party. He is ' The Party Animal '.

"Yeah? Cool. And you Laura?" Chris says. I guess he noticed my glare.

"Well, why would there be a party in the beginning of the first week of school? And no. I don't think I will." I said.

His smirk fades. I suddenly felt guilty.

Argh. Why is he doing this to me.

"Oh. Well the offer will always be open to you." He says ending the statement with a wink. I started to blush. His smirk came back and I look out the window.

Before I know it, we ended up at the school. I opened the car door and got out. My brother did the same and so did Chris.

Logan walked next to me and Chris on my opposite side. I ended up seeing girl giving me death glares and boys whistling.

We got to two big doors and Chris opened it. Why was he still with us? I thanked him and went inside as did Logan. Chris lead us to the office.

Once we got there Chris told us he will wait for us outside. We agreed.

We talked to the Secretary and she got us our schedule with our locker number. We thanked her and walked out. Logan was a head of me. I looked at my schedule. But that sucked because I bumped into someone.

I looked up and saw a girl who must have been a senior. She had long Brown hair with brown eyes. She was pretty tall and pretty cute. She had an eyebrow piercing. Something I've been dying to get.

"Oh sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going." I said.

The girl smiled. "Eh don't worry about it. Anyways I'm Faith. Faith Greene " She said and stook out her hand. I took it.

"Laura. Laura Winchester. Nice to meet you." I say with a smile.

"Same here. Wow. Your pretty. Like prettier than Melody. Dam girl."

I chuckle.

"Thanks."

"Ooh can I get your schedule?" She asked. I nodded. We switched schedules. My eyes widened. I look up to have her eyes widened also.

"Oh my god. Same schedule?! That's super rare! We are so effin lucky!" She squealed. I laugh. We walk outside and kept talking. I looked around and found Logan and Chris. My eyes widened.

Let me rephrase that. I found Chris making out with a blonde chick. Before anything happened the bell rang.

Chris stopped and turned and his gaze met mine. I turned away.

Why should I care. I don't know him. He doesn't know me.

But then why am I feeling this way?

I walk inside. Faith by my side.

Hope the day goes by good.

Maybe.
