Lexi made it home from Ms. Ernestine's house and then she went to Ray's house for a while by nine o clock Christmas night. She called Craig as soon as she got in.

"Damn you just made it home?" He whined.

"Yeah"

"Is jazzy still up?" She could hear alot of people on the background.

"I still haven't gave her last feeding but.you can still come"

"Alright I'll be there"

"You'd better hurry cause when she's hungry she don't play"

"Like her daddy see ya" he laughed.

"Yo Craig, you got something good for me?" She could hear a woman in the background.

"Who is that?" Lexi demanded. He had been swearing to her that he was no longer with Avis and she never questioned him about other women. Maybe she should.

"Nobody. Give me five minutes" he hunged up quickly.

Lexi changed Jasmine into her pajamas and set her in the swing, hoping she would be content until Craig got there. She had just begun to get feisty when the doorbell rang.

"Your right on time" she said as she opened the door.

"Yeah" Craig said.

For the rest of the might Craig was playing with Jasmine and she made her first laugh. Lexi thought of Craig as a gold father and sooner or later she forgot about the woman on the phone.

"Got some to drink?" Craig asked.

"Yeah hold on" Lexi got up to get a can of soda for him and when she turned around Craig was right there holding her waist. His arms felt good on her and she couldn't help but to wrap her legs around him. She then but his lip and they started to kiss. Craig led her to the bedroom and it was a good thing she had on a robe cause he ripped that off of her.

She peeled into the dim nursery and Macs sure Jasmine was asleep. She walked Intl the room just in time to hear Craig talking on his cell phone.

"I can't meet up with you. Fine meet me in ten minutes. Whatever"

"Who is that?" Lexi asked, causing Craig to damn near jump out of his skin.

"Don't be sneaking up on me like that" he turned and smiled at her. "That was Chresanto gotta go meet him at the crib right quick"

"But what about the shower"

"Thirty minutes okay?" He kissed her an nearly ran out the door leaving her sitting on the side of the bed. He returns two hours later and climbed into the bed, wrapping his arms around Lexi as she slept.
