Title: My Cold Fiancé
-Chapter 1-
-Aiah's Perspective-
I sat in the cafeteria with my friends (Maloi, Sheena, and Stacey), enjoying a quick snack early in the morning as our professor hadn't arrived yet. My gaze fell upon my fiancé, Mikha, seated with his friends (Joanna, Colet, Gwen). His serious expression caught my attention, and as he sat at a nearby table, I noticed him looking at me before I quickly averted my eyes. He's undeniably handsome, ugh!Sheena: Hey, Ate Aiah! Don't you want your strawberry? I'll take it.
"I was about to let Sheena take my strawberry when I playfully flicked her hand."
Aiah: Can you not, Sheena? This one's mine. (I rolled my eyes, and she did the same.)
Sheena: Fine then! (She rolled her eyes back.)
Maloi and Stacey: Hold on, the professor messaged us. (Maloi and Stacey mentioned.)
Aiah: What did he say?
Maloi and Stacey: He mentioned there's no class, he's running late, and has plans with his wife.
Sheena: Perfect!
Aiah/Sheena: Let's head out!
We shared a laugh and swiftly grabbed our bags, exiting the cafeteria.
-Mikha's Perspective-
I observed Aiah leaving with her friends after the professor's announcement of no class for the day. Where is that woman off to now?Colet: No class? I'm out, I'm too sleepy, I'll just nap all day. (Colet left.)
Gwen: I'm leaving too, guys.
Gwen bid her farewells and departed.
Joanna: Mikha, are you coming along?
Joanna inquired.
Mikha: Where to?
I responded in a cold tone.
Joanna: Let's follow them, Stacey. (She smiled.)
Mikha: Where are they headed? (In a cold tone.)
Joanna: They're going to the mall.
Mikha: Let's go. (In a cold tone.)
We exited the cafeteria and trailed Aiah to the mall. That woman is something else. Doesn't she remember she's engaged to me? She didn't even bid me goodbye. Ugh.
-Mall-
-Gucci-
Aiah: Stacey, are you getting a bag? What about you, Sheena and Maloi?
Stacey: I'll check out makeup, of course. How about you, Sheena and Maloi?
Sheena/Maloi: We're eyeing bags.
Joanna and Mikha suddenly appeared.
Stacey: Joanna? What brings you here? (She expressed surprise.)
Sheena/Maloi: Why are you here too? How did you find us? (Arms crossed.)
Mikha: (Glances at Aiah.)
Aiah: (Looks at Mikha.)
Joanna: We followed you, we're too lazy to head home! Stacey, I'll join you, my treat. (She linked arms with Stacey.)
Stacey: Um, alright, bye to the rest of you. (She left with Joanna.)
Sheena/Maloi: Ate Aiah, we'll catch you at the cashier. (They winked at Aiah and departed.)
Aiah: (Nods, pouts, gazes at Mikha.)
Mikha: What? (In a cold tone.)
Aiah : Join me, my darling. (He holds Mikha's arm.)
Mikha: I'll stay here. I'll wait for you so we can head home together. (In a cold tone.)
Aiah: No, my darling, accompany me to buy a new bag over there! Please?? (Pouting.)
Mikha: Fine.
Aiah: Yay! (Leaves with Mikha.)
-Aiah's Perspective-
After a few minutes, I selected a bag to purchase. As I was about to grab it, I realized my wallet was missing from my bag. Mikha noticed I had been searching through my bag earlier.
Mikha: What's wrong?
He queried in a cold tone. I forced a smile, raised my eyebrows, and grabbed his arm.
Aiah: My darling! It's, um, hehe.
Mikha: What?
He appeared visibly annoyed.
Aiah: I think I left my wallet in Colet's car.
Mikha: So? Go get it.
He avoided meeting my gaze.
Aiah: Huh? Can't you just pay for the bag I chose? Please, pretty please?
I attempted to be cute and pouted.
Mikha: No! That bag is expensive, and you want me to pay for it? Just retrieve your money from Colet's car. I'll wait for you outside this store.
He removed my hand from his arm, prepared to leave, but I sulked and sat on the sofa, prompting him to look at me, raising an eyebrow.
Aiah: Fine, do as you wish. Maybe you'd rather buy things for your ex, Belle. I rarely ask for anything, and you still decline. You're so mean. Perhaps it's best if we part ways.
I said to him, feigning tears. I glanced at him and noticed his nonchalant reaction, prompting me to intensify my fake crying.
Saleslady: Sir, perhaps you should pay for what your wife picked. It's not too pricey, just 50 thousand.
The saleslady's statement surprised Mikha, who glanced at me. I continued pretending to cry.
Aiah: (Sighs.) Here's the card, give it to him for the bag.
The saleslady received the card Mikha provided, and I smiled, rushing to him and grasping his arm.
Aiah: Thank you, Mikha! I knew it; you can't resist me.
-Mikha's Perspective-
I didn't want to pay for the bag she chose, but she suddenly sulked and sat on the sofa, dropping the bag she held. She truly acted like a child and even mentioned my ex, Belle. To top it off, the bag was expensive, 50 thousand just for that. She's fortunate she's cute. I settled the bill for the bag, and she promptly rushed to me, seizing my arm like a child. After acquiring the bag she desired, we exited the store.
