Arch Nemesis
It was your average hot summer day at school. Luna would make her way down the school hallways, walking elegantly. With her silky light brown hair flowing behind her, she was a quiet girl who was usually kind to everyone she met. Even people who didn't reciprocate her kindness.
While walking down the hall, she suddenly went flying. She felt as if she hit a brick wall, the only word she could think of at that moment was...
"hard..."
"Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't see you-" She looked up and saw the roughest guy in school, Ace Nelson, the black-haired waste of good genes, he would beat up whoever he wanted. Boy or girl, it never mattered to him.
"Move, irrelevant bitch." That was the first thing that came out of his mouth. He would push her to the wall and study her with eyes that could kill. He glared at her, "I said, MOVE IT!"
"Excuse me???..." she looked at him with great confusion. Anger started bubbling up inside her, 'He's so rude..' she thought. It was just an accident after all.. After he pushed her to the wall, she instinctively kicked his leg, triggering an event that made her regret this action severely.
"FUCK! My leg.. You fucking bitch!" He yelled.
Then, a punch was sent flying towards Luna's face.
A few seconds later, there was a full-on fight. A crowd surrounded them, phones out, and screams from the students. Ace was knocking the daylights out of Luna while she was trying to defend herself.
Two particular students, Brandon and Ray looked at the fight and blinked at each other. Brandon, the black-haired heartthrob of the school. And Ray, the white-haired hottie of the school.
"Dude, what the hell? Lmao." Ray chuckled.
"They look like idiots... How embarrassing." Brandon replied.
The fight continued and soon they were both called to the principal's office. Luna with a few bruises and a sore arm, Ace with a throbbing leg. (Luna's taekwondo really came in handy)
Principal Nicholas squinted his eyes, looking at them with a calculating look. "Do you both know why you're here?" He clicked his pen and sighed, staring disappointedly at the students.
"I'll have to call your parents and let you off with a 3-day suspension. This betterbe the LAST time something like this happens." He said with clear authority in his voice.
"Yes sir..." The two said in sync except that Ace rolled his eyes. Brandon was peeking through the door and chuckling at how they got suspended.
"Brandon, get your big head out of the doorway, everyone can see your megamind brain" Ray scoffed.
"Alright, alright, you both are dismissed. Now get out."
Once the door was slammed shut, Luna turned to look at Ace.
"Y'know, you really lost a lot of respect from your peers. That was a dumb move on your part, have fun with that bruised leg of yours. Hmph."
Luna turned around and flipped her hair, eventually leaving Ace's view.
"Whatever," Ace rolled his eyes and scoffed for the 14th millionth time. "I don't give two shits about what these dumbass people think about me."
He put his hands in his pockets and kicked rocks all the way home.
