The residence was quiet when Jack got up there. Nanny Shaw had taken Caroline and John to the swingset to enjoy the final warm days of fall and Jackie was still in the bath.

He shed his suit jacket and tie as he came into the bathroom and leaned against the counter, Jackie looking up at him with a smile on her face.

"Hi Bunny."

"Hi Kid." He said softly, watching her.

"Oh...you're terribly mad at me aren't you?" She bit her lip,  watching him over the edge of the tub.

"No, Jacqueline. I'm not mad. But I do want you to try and stop picking fights with everyone on my staff. They know what happened to us. They understand."

"No! No one understands! I came back to this place! Where I had a nursery all ready for him! And I came home, empty handed!"

He sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Maybe you need to get away for a while. Renew your spirit."

She was quiet for a moment, before nodding in agreement. "I suppose so. Lee is going to Greece at the end of the week. Maybe I could tag along?"

He nodded. "I think that would do you good."

She smiled slightly. "Well...if I don't leave until the end of the week and the kids aren't here...maybe you should join me now?"

He chuckled. "Oh is that so?"

"It is."

He smiled as he started undressing. "That, Jacqueline. Is one thing I would never fight with you on."
