Morgan's P.O.V
I listened as the gray robot, the one that seemed to be leader around here was ordering Knockout to do something. I rubbed my neck where the scary one eyed robot had injected the chip into my skin. It still hurt, badly, and I could tell that my neck was irritated by it.
I sighed. My new "owner," Soundwave, was working hard in front of a computer. I shook my head. He saved my life and stopped me from escaping. I was caught in between gratitude and hatred.
"Human."
I looked up as Knockout called for me. "What?"
He transformed and opened his passenger door, I climbed in. He activated his human hologram. "Since I don't know what you humans need to survive Lord Megatron ordered me to take you with me so you can tell me what you need."
I was silent, planning some kind of escape.
His look became serious. "Don't even try, that chip in your neck will stop you if you do."
I looked at him, absently rubbing my sore neck where the chip was. "What will it do?"
"Sends 50 bolts of electricity through your body until you fall into stasis and one of the Decepticons finds you."
I stared at him horrified, then at the portal as we entered and said softly, "Now I know what a dog feels like with a shock collar..."
He chuckled as he drove down a road leading to town. I glanced at him, then down at my lap. "How will you get my needs Knockout? I mean you're an alien robot, you don't have money, and most of all you have no clue how to take care of me."
He shrugged. "Well you know that us cons are the bad guys...." he smirked. "I'm sure you know what I'll do."
I sighed apprehensivly "Steal?"
"Yep."
I sighed again and spotted a grocery store. "Stop here."
Time skip~
After explaining to Knockout what everything in the store was used for and why humans needed them, I ended up saying that "we think we need them, but really don't." for a lot of his questions.
At the moment I was fingering a soft throw blanket that reminded me of home.....
Home. That's where I belong, not with alien robots.
I turned to Knockout as he studied the signs and interior of the building. "Hey Knockout? Can I ask you something?"
"What is it?" He asked not looking away from the ceiling, not even a glance.
"Can we possibly stop at my house to grab some....personal stuff?"
That's When he finely focused on my, his bright red eyes curious. "Why? What could you possibly need from your...."house?"
I shrugged. "Again personal stuff."
"No."
"But-"
"No."
The tone of his voice stopped farther argument and I sighed. "Fine...can we go now?"
He smiled, glad I dropped the question, and nodded. "Yes, we can do that."
As we drove around town I spotted at book and asked if I could look around, by myself. He agreed hesitantly.
As I was looking at done romance novels, wishing I could buy them but my money was at home, where I should me as well. I felt the sudden tingly, uncomfortable feeling of eyes watching me.
I looked up and around the store, I found no one paying any attention to me and tried to shrug off the feeling then continued browsing.
But I couldn't shake the feeling off, so I tried to ignore it the best I could. I sighed and put the books back and turned.
I gasped and jumped back, bumping into the bookshelf, in surprise as I came face to face with a tall, slender, man.
I glanced down at the shelf as it creaked, threatening to fall back, but it settled back against my butt and I looked at the man who was standing uncomfortably close.
He stared down at me, I couldn't see his eyes or what he was thinking because his dark black sunglasses he wore hid them.
I looked him up and down slowly, not moving a muscle. He was wearing a blackish/gray shirt, black jeans, and silvery gray sneakers. His hair was black and he was actually quite handsome.
I shifted out of his way, from in between him and the bookshelf, and began walking away.
I felt someone grab my forearm gently, but firmly, and turned me around. It was the man again.
"Do you have the currency to purchase those books?" He asked in a very deep, spin chilling, hoarse, voice. But as creepy as it was it was somewhat trusting.
I shook my head. "No."
Would you like me to purchase them for you?" He said not letting go of my arm, and I could feel my hair and goose bumps rise as he touched me and continued to keep contact.
"Oh, you don't have too. I really don't need them."
He said nothing and let go of me, taking the books I was looking at earlier and walking up to the cashier.
I watched, mouth agape, I can't believe a guy that handsome is being nice to s girl like me.
I watched as he came back and handed me the bag of books, by then I was staring at him confused. Why did he do that?
I managed to say "thank you" and left, opening Knockout's red and white pinstriped door, dazed.
I felt someone shake my shoulder and I jumped out of my haze.
"You alright?"
I looked at Knockout, his hologram's handsome face full of worry. I nodded. "Yeah..."
"Ok if you say so." He said and headed to a different store.
I stared out the window thinking of the man that bought the books....I should of asked what his name was.
