It's crazy how a cute single date can immediately turn into a battle against a worldwide apocalypse.

My eyes opened slowly, finding everything in my vision blurry, my mind hazy, my body weak.

I really thought that I would've met the eternal depths of darkness by now.. Such a shame that wasn't the case.

I sat up from my lying position, dust all around me. I find this as a chance to take a proper look at my surroundings once again – everything was all in shambles, debris all around, it was only empty with no people in my sight.

"K-Katsuki.." I muttered softly under my breath. The last time that I remember is when I was with him, talking together around a bonfire that we made, and he was cold for the night so I went to look for something to keep him warm..

Then I found myself here. Alone.

"Katsuki," I said once again, standing up but fell into the ground as my hands and feet were tied around into a pole just beside me. Taking in the pain on my body, I can only bite my lip as I hissed as I tried not to create too much noise.

It hurts.

The blood on my wrists and ankles was visible – surely the one who tied me up around here doesn't want me to get out. Not a single gap was given mercy to bound me up. I wish I knew the reason why.

I rubbed, shook, and wiggled my wrists together hoping that the rope bounding me would somehow get loose. I found a sense of hope as it did, and I used my teeth to bite the rope to finally set me free.

Slowly getting off my hands to the rope that was once tied around me, I took a deep breath. Every part of my body still felt numb, but I mustered my strength to stand up and to go look for the boy that I was with.

"Where could he be?" I asked myself, looking at the sidewalks, houses that people back then would call home, and buildings that were high up almost reaching the clouds had met its downfall. My eyebrows furrowed as I found my stomach grumbling in hunger.

"Well, shit"

I could only groan in frustration, my voice still hoarse. I don't even have my bag with me, I swear I have it with me or maybe I was robbed when I was sleeping – If only I remember, I wish I could remember..

I walked for what seemed like an eternity. There was nothing in sight that was useful, or I could eat until I reached a stall filled with snacks. My e/c-eyes looked everywhere but no one was around so I took a handful of it all for myself, and for Katsuki of course.

What was weird is that these snacks.. They were everywhere. On the ground, on the walls.

"Why would people even waste food like this?!" I exclaimed, tearing up the wrapper of an onigiri before chomping it all in. At least it's still delicious..

Crows flew across the horizon before landing into the ground and started pecking on the snacks. I just stood as it paused and looked at me soulless.

Wind with a hint of smoke brushed over me. My eyes widened by the smell of delicious cooking, it made my mouth water as I hadn't eaten real food in days – maybe even weeks or months, and so I ran to the direction where the smell was coming from.
