The neon lights painted the skyline in a kaleidoscope of colors, a stark contrast to the dark missions of his past. It had been three years since he last set foot in Japan, and that time had been for a different purpose—eliminating the then prime minister. Now, his reasons for being here were entirely different, albeit reluctantly so. Ksenia, had enrolled him at UA High, the nation's top hero school. Achilles still couldn't believe she had given his fake identity the name Fujisaki Haruto—it made him cringe.
With a resigned sigh, Achilles slipped on his designer shoes and headed out to explore the shopping district. If he was going to be stuck in Japan for the foreseeable future, he might as well indulge in the finer things the country had to offer. The bustling district was a paradise for anyone with an appreciation for fashion and luxury. Achilles, with his charm and charismatic demeanor, fit right in.
He entered an upscale boutique, the door chime announcing his arrival. Rows of meticulously arranged designer clothes greeted him. The sales associate, a young woman with sleek black hair and a sharp suit, approached him with a practiced smile.
"Welcome, sir. How may I assist you today?"
Achilles returned the smile, his golden eyes twinkling mischievously. "I'm looking to update my wardrobe. Something exclusive, preferably." His Japanese was perfect as it was three years ago.
"Of course." She replied, leading him to a section of limited-edition items. "These pieces are quite rare and only available in Japan."
Achilles scanned the racks, his fingers brushing against the luxurious fabrics. "Perfect. I'll take these." He said, selecting several outfits without even glancing at the price tags.
The sales associate's eyes widened slightly. "Excellent choice, sir. Would you like to try them on?"
"No need." Achilles replied smoothly. "I'm sure they'll fit perfectly."
As he moved through the store, his attention was caught by a display of accessories. He picked up a sleek black watch, its face adorned with intricate designs. The craftsmanship was impeccable, the work of a renowned Japanese artisan.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" The sales associate remarked, noticing his interest. "It's one of our most prized pieces."
"It's exquisite." He murmured, turning it over to examine the details. "I'll take it."
The associate's eyes widened slightly, clearly impressed. "Very good, sir. Would you like it gift-wrapped?"
"No need." Achilles replied, slipping the watch onto his wrist. "I'll wear it out."
As he finalized his purchase, Achilles couldn't help but notice the appreciative glances he received from other shoppers. He was used to the attention; his charming demeanor and appearance often drew people to him like moths to a flame.
Leaving the boutique with several bags in tow, Achilles continued his shopping spree, stopping at various stores and spending lavishly. His flirtatious banter with the staff earned him more than a few admiring glances.
