Driving into the compound with my blue convertible, I could see my mum's head poking out of the scarlet red velvet curtain in the living room. I shook my head.

Mum would probably be wandering where I wandered off to. but it wasn't anywhere special just a gym

That has been my triangle life cycle since that tragic accident

Home,church,gym.

As soon as I parked my car I came down swinging the keys with my index finger in the air. And I soon as I entered the living room,I cowered back as mum glared so dangerously.

" Good morning mum" I still manage to croak out a sentence even with the hard glare that almost rendered me dead.

"Doctor Ekanem called"

All the air drained out of my lungs as I felt faint instantly.

"So are you going to explain why you haven't been having therapy for the past one week straight" her voice was undeniably laced with venom and anger.

"Despite the fact that I paid for that therapy you still had the guts to ditch” even with how angered she was she still managed to keep her cool, she always does.

She was waiting for my response and I honestly didn't know what to say anymore. That having a person intrude In my life and ask so much godamn questions just to understand or advice me was so not what I wanted right now, and in all honesty I've been skipping therapy for gym so that was why I had on a regular black top and jeans, my gym outfit tucked safely in my duffel bag.

I instantly remembered I was supposed to speak so I opened my mouth but almost facepalmed at what came out.

"I don't need therapy"

It felt like mum's glare increased to a top notch and I honestly didn't know how that was possible

She opened her mouth to spit vile but was interrupted by the loud bang if the mahogany door.

It was my twin alright, walking in like she didn't notice anyone, she didn't cause she was on that phone of hers, doing God knows what.

But like an electric shock struck her and she turned her neck to our direction with so much speed and force that I was sure she could get a whiplash. Her eyes widened in the sight of mum but didn't say anything.

She glanced at me and we communicated with our telepathy, she knew instantly that I was in trouble for not going to therapy.

"Why are you still standing there" mum's voice cut through our telepathy and with utmost speed,Nicole dashed up the curvaceous stairs.

I felt her glare on me once more but I didn't look up.

"Go to your room" she whispered but I heard her, her face was now blank without emotions as she looked, I still stared and she waited for me to walk away, even when I passed the black fluffy couch she was on she didn't attack me just kept looking till I was away from her sight.

At the bank of the stairs I still felt her looking and I turned and I regretted it cause I almost fell in the floor

Mum was hurt, sad and angry that was how she looked at me but immediately she noticed I was looking she immediately switched to her passive, opaque look.

All because of me, I caused it.

I ran up the stairs in tears and into my room.

" Get out" I didn't even need to look to know that Nicole was in my room she was sitting on my bed and her phone in her hand.
