A Dog?!

Ethans POV

Rugby practice was cut short due to the fact the they are fertilizing the grass today. I don't really mind and obviously neither does Cris.
" Lets go eat ?" Cris asks me.
"Um sure, where do you want to go ?"
"Well my brain is telling me to eat healthy but my stomach wants McDonald's so i guess we are having McDonald's.
"You and your cravings remind me of a pregnant women ." I laugh while I tell that to Cris."Maybe i am pregnantan with your kid " he smirks at me. "Of course you are Cris, your my childs mother because you're my one and only. I tell Cris dramatically.
"I knew we were ment to be now all you have to do is dump Roxan for me and then we can live happily ever after until you die" he sighs .
"Hey, why do i have to die first ?!!?"
"Because im sexier so i can't obviously die first !" I just laugh at Cris. No we aren't gay we just have this really close brotherly connection that we play around like that and just dont care what the rest say. Anyways we walk towards my car. She is my bae. I take care of her as much as i can . She is a blue ,2015 mustang. My parents got it for me on my 18th birthday so its brand new. Cris opens the door to my car and jumps into the front seat while i of course take the driver seat. We drive off the the nearest McDonald there is. Once we get there we go through the drive in and order two large cokes ,and 2 Big Macs with large fries. We decide to go eat at my house because apparently Cris loves to go to my house even if we are neighbors and our houses are about the same. We enter my house and realize nobody is home so we just eat in the kitchen.
"Did you see Roxan after practice today?"Cris suddenly asks me.
"Nope she told me that practice was going to end late so to not wait for her."
"That's weird.I saw the cheerleaders getting ready to go when we were about to leave "
"Maybe she is still avoiding me?"
"You should just break up with her dude"
"Yeah maybe i should , she isn't trying and honestly i have stop trying too"
"We have barely began the school year and your with drama , what a girl you are" Cris teases me.
"I heard that there will be alot of new kids this year." Cris informs me
" Really? Why is that?"
"I don't know something about a big company and many kids want to transer to our high school. "
"That's cool i guess"
With that we end our conversation because Cris mom sais she needed him to run some errands for her.

~Later on that day~

It's 8:44p.m and i have already finished my homework and just finished playing FIFA . I lay in my bed and realize how bored i am. I need a pet,a dog to be persise. I have no siblings or family members close by .Cris is my best friend but he's busy so might as well get a dog even if my parent don't want one. Speaking of my parents i hear the front door opening and my parents arguing. This has been going on since last week. The constant arguing. I get more along with my dad then my mom . I know m suppose to be "mommy's boy" but I'm not. She always has to control everything i do. With my dad its different we could play video games,go out to eat , wrestle, and not argue once. Its weird usually its mom and son relationship going good and dad and son relationship sinking faster then titanic. I go downstairs to tell them what I have decided. I hear there arguing coming from the kitchen so that's where i go. I see them on the other side of the counter. Mom getting red in the face from all the frustration and dad just looking calm but still managing to blame her for something she did. I walk up to the counter and when mom sees me she shuts up .
"Hey Ethan" my dad greets me with a smile.
"Hey dad , how was work "
"Oh , it was good the usual happens but doesn't matter as long as I'm getting payed"
"True that " I say to my dad
"Hi Ethan, yeah you know im here too " my mom tells me
"Hi mom" i tell her plainly. Then i remember what i came down for and say " I'm getting a dog "
"No you're not" "Cool what kind?"
My parents say at the same time.
"Yes i am, mom and I'm thinking maybe a German Shepherd,what do you think dad?"
" I think that a German Shepherd is just fine as long as you get a puppy so that you can train him and grows up with you"
"Ethan is not getting a dog , i don't like dog!" My mom says frustrated
"Yes I am, you don't know how lonley it gets in this house so I'm getting a dog"
"You don't even have the money to buy it " she smirks at me .
My dad and I look at each other and laugh. "You know mom if you would pay more attention to me then yourself then you would know that i work at a Nike's store and not only that but that i have been working there for 2 years now " I can't believe my mom didn't know i even worked. Wow just some mind blowing shit.
My mom just stays quiet and leaves the kitchen. My dad then asks me "So how was work today "
"I didnt work today they gave me the day off since its going slow today"
"Well that's good at least you got to chill today "
"Yeah i did, anyways im going to bed already "
"Don't you want to go out and eat with me i know you haven't ate and your mother isn't going to cook anytime soon plus its only 9:10pm"
I didn't think twice before saying "Hell yeah im starving" my dad just laughs and says " alright but lets take your car i don't feel like driving " i smile and just say "with pleasure "
