Since 2016, they've taken their mission a step further, specifically targeting the plight of tiger victim families in the Sundarbans.

Standing with the Sundarbans
The Sundarbans, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, faces a unique challenge – human-wildlife conflict. Tiger attacks leave families devastated, with the loss of a loved one and the struggle to survive. GECT steps in as a much-needed charitable trust for Sundarbans, offering a lifeline to these families.
Their work extends across numerous villages, including Amlamethi, Shibganj, and many more. GECT offers comprehensive support to over 800 widowed and underprivileged women and 1,000 children. Their projects encompass a wide range of needs, including:
