Eight years after Izuku Midoriya (also known as Deku), the first-year hero student, defeated Tomura Shigaraki, the successor of the crime lord All for One, casualties among heroes were significant in the final war. Sadly, heroes like Eraser Head, Kamui Woods, Edgeshot, Ryuko, and even All Might passed away.
After the war, with approximately 75% of Japan's heroes lost, UA High School took an unexpected step: they graduated all their Hero Course students early to replenish the hero ranks. This continued for eight years, until a pivotal change in the eighth year. UA High not only reopened its Hero and Support Courses but also accepted new students for the first time in nearly a decade.
Among the fresh enrollees were Eri, Kota, Katsumo, Tamashiro, and many others. Their admission marked a new chapter for Japan, bringing forth a new generation of heroes after a long period of scarcity.
