"I wish you choose me"
•————————————————————————•

"Here, take this gun. Either kiss me or kill me." Dhriti stormed into his cabin, her eyes blaring with anger, her voice dangerously stern.

Siddharth flinched in his seat, his gaze lifting reluctantly from the papers before him to meet her fiery stare. "Have you lost your mind, Dhriti?" he asked, annoyance tinged with a trace of confusion.

"Siddharth, I'm telling you to either end this book or start a new chapter," she demanded, her voice low and firm.

"Dhriti, I said it before, and I'll say it again-you don't mean anything to me. I don't love you," he replied, his tone resolute.

But only he knew the turmoil beneath his calm facade. Her eyes were brimming with betrayal, while his were filled with unspoken pain.

"Look in my eyes and say that again," she challenged, her voice dominant and unwavering.
Instead of answering, he turned his back on her, intending to leave.

Tears threatened to spill from her eyes, while his heart felt like it was shattering into pieces, betraying her in this manner.

Just as he reached for the door handle, a deafening gunshot echoed through the room. Siddharth froze in place, his heart pounding erratically. Time seemed to stand still as the reverberations of the
shot faded, leaving a heavy silence in their wake.

"The way I choose you every time"
