The figure still didn’t move. Isabelle was still in shock from her own words. She put her hand to her throat wondering what that meant, and if it was true. She was in a mixed state of confusion and terror. The figure pulled off its dark hood and then Isabelle heard a loud flapping sound, similar to wings. She looked up to the dark shape, now able to see its face. It was a boy. Around her age, he had dark black hair with lightning blue eyes that seemed to look right through you. He might’ve been considered handsome at the time to any normal girl, with the moonlight hitting him in such a way that he looked like perfect angel. The wings helped. The wings, which Isabelle was totally entranced by at the time totally ignoring how the boy in front of her was pulling out a sword. By the time she snapped out of it the sword was already pointed at her throat.
“Why am I always left to dispose of these half breeds…” He muttered under his breath. Half breeds? Isabelle thought in confusion. She didn’t have time to think of that now though. The blade was still searing her skin. She refused to show any sign of pain but she did grit teeth slightly.
“…Do I know you?”She said with as much restraint as possible on her voice. Just the blade touching her skin hurt like hell. It seemed to be cutting something else though..
“No, and I’d prefer it that way. Ill end this quickly.” He muttered as he pulled the blade back ready to thrust it into Isabelle’s neck. Something flashed before the dark haired stranger could plunge the sword into Isabelle’s throat and it shattered into pieces before their eyes. The air was thick with confusion and silence. The stranger looked startled as Isabelle when the sword that he held his hand just shattered. Isabelle stood up slowly taking this as a chance to get as far away from this guy as possible. She turned around and started dashing away from him as fast as she could before collapsed again.
