Chapter 9

Gloria: Ok, so how is this normal?

Shawn: You do remember how he is when someone insults Jade.

Gloria: Not Daniel, seeing him almost kill people is normal, I meant Mason, why is his eyes glowing?

"Because someone has been staring at Emily and Jackie lately and it's pissing him off"

Gloria: Huh, so the submissive wolf does have a mean side to him.

Mason: I always had a mean side to me, I just keep it under control so Daniel won't kick my ass to oblivion.

Gloria: That makes sense, anyways Daniel has a meeting in ten minutes, Shawn, you and the other three have phone meeting in five minutes and everyone is asking if they can have a week off since you and and Stacy are going on another honeymoon.

Shawn: No one is getting the week off when we leave, besides Daniel will be here to watch over everything.

Mason: I'm not surprised why?

"You've been around us way too long."

As I said that we all left to do our thing. After my meeting was over I got a text from Amber asking if I knew where Jade kept her skirts. I didn't question it and just told her along with that I'm bringing dinner tonight. She sent a thumbs up leaving me confused. I just sighed tiredly closing my eyes before feeling Misty, Jewel, and Phoenix climb on me and cling to me. I looked down at them confused until I saw they was tired too and just wanted to rest with me. I chuckled before holding all three of them and sit in my recliner I had bought a week before. I recliner in it before falling asleep with the triplets following suit. After about ten minutes I was woken up by my phone ringing so I leaned up and answered it much to the kittens dismay.

"What?"

Stacy: Are you still in your office?

"Yeah, why?"

Stacy: Are my nieces with you?

"Yeah, they're clinging and glaring at me because I'm talking on the phone."

Stacy: Okay, Carly noticed the girls finished they're work and then disappeared.

"Let me guess, she started to panic and threatened if someone took them she would kill them all?"

Stacy: Yeah, Aria was the same when she noticed her sister losing it so I called you.

"Smart move."

Stacy: Alright, I'll let them know and let you sleep cause I know your tired.

"Yep and call Emily and let her and Jackie in they'll probably have to come get the girls if I'm not up by closing."

Stacy: Got it.

The moment I hung up Phoenix took my phone and turned it off while looking like an innocent angel. I chuckled before falling back to sleep.
