First of all thank you for giving my book a chance.

Now this fanfic is just me pushing myself to keep publishing what I write. With that in mind and given the fact that this is a fanfic, I'll try my best to give life to my characters in a way that feels true to the Twilight universe.

This fanfic is based on The Twilight saga, but there's some stuff that is going to be different from the movies, so I can take my creative liberties and write as best as I can. I haven't read the books so this will be based ONLY on the movies and what little things I know about this universe. I'll try to insert my OC in a way that feels right, and know that I'll try to make it make sense, I mean with the dates and all.

It's important for you to know that I don't like to transcript scenes, by this I mean that I'll just use and write some canon scenes bc I believe that writing the whole movies makes it tedious, and that if you want to read every twilight scene is better to just watch the movies or read the actual books.

In this book I mention mature themes, like blood, gore, swearing, use of alcohol, drugs, violence, character deaths, racism, and homophobia so if you feel uncomfortable about them at any point feel free to stop reading.
Your mental health comes first.

For this ff my main OC came to be bc I needed a fucking love story with Leah Clearwater as the main character. I love Leah and I don't find many fics about her so I had to. With that in mind my main OC came to be and later the whole story.

Now, like I said this is a love story, but my OC is a vampire who has killed lots of people in her life, which is going to be troublesome to the love story but I'll work it out.
My OC is the furthest from saint as any vampire could be. She's a fucking menace, and an hypocritical bitch who will defend her actions and make excuses for them, but it's all part of the story. I hope you enjoy her as much as I do.

I was debating myself A LOT if to have imprinting on my fic bc I don't love it, that's the truth. I find it weird in more ways than I would care to admit and i don't like the power it holds over the wolf. I get the meaning of a soulmate of sorts and I love that, really I do. The idea of a soulmate is a beautiful concept, what I don't love it's that they feel hopeless about it, so I'll try to work that out.

At the end I decided to have imprinting but it's going to be different in someways, by this I mean that they still have choices and are not just made to follow their imprint.
I wanna play with the whole "this is supposed to happen but I want this to happen" thing.
I decided that it makes more sense for my story to have imprinting, bc at the end my OC is a vampire and it'll be harder for Leah to get closer to her without the imprint.
I also decided that if Stephanie makes full grown werewolves imprint on children then it is completely fine for the only woman werewolf to imprint on the lesbian vampire, but that's me.
Still Leah is going to fight the imprint a lot bc one thing she and I share is that we both hate imprinting with a burning passion but we also love the idea of a soulmate, it's a complicated relationship.

The name of this ff is based on the song Monster by King Princess. I fucking love that song and needed it to be the title. That song inspired this whole story and the way Leah and my OC will learn to love themselves and each other, and I might be biased but it's a beautiful journey.

Again, this is a work of fan fiction and it's not real, but i'll try my best to capture the personality of every character the best I can and at the same time I'll try to have my freedoms with them.
