"Let's go." Skypaw meowed, and the two RiverClan apprentice ran off into the forest, Whisperpaw and Stormpaw right behind them.

"Spottedpaw, are you alright?" Threepaw asked her sister, nudging her shoulder.

Spottedpaw looked up at her, guilt shining in her eyes. "Skypaw was just being nice, and I thought we could be friends...then I hurt her."

Threepaw wrapped her tail around the black and brown spotted she-cat's shoulders. "I'm sure she'll understand why you did what you did. In the mean time, you can do what you've trained your whole life to do and let us warriors worry about the battle."

Spottedpaw purred in amusement, but she shadow still hung in her gaze. Give it time, these things take a bit of time. Threepaw padded over to the marigold plant and sniffed at the flowers.

"You use these, right?" She asked, lifting her head.

"Yeah, they help stop wounds from getting infected. There will never be a wound that a medicine cat doesn't put marigold on." The medicine cat apprentice dipped her head to pick another flower. "I can patch up your wounds now, and have Leafbranch check on them later." She chewed up the flower petals and lapped them onto the scratches on Threepaw's pelt.

"Hey, Spottedpaw, do you need cobwebs?" Stormpaw's voice called. Their other sisters were back from chasing away the RiverClan intruders.

"I will, can you two go fetch a ton of it while I work on Threepaw?" They nodded and set off, returning several moments later with wads of cobweb attached to their paws. "Thanks."

They left again to get more while Spottedpaw pressed the cobwebs into the scratches. Once she was all patched up, Stormpaw got to sit and be treated while Threepaw ran to get more of the cobwebs. She found a hollow fallen tree and inside were tons of webs. Making sure she didn't get any bugs on them, she snatched the cobwebs up and started hobbling back to her littermates.

Once they were all patched up, they started making their way back to camp. Scenting more RiverClan scents, they shared a worried glance before picking up the pace. Bursting into the clearing, they saw four RiverClan warriors surrounded by the whole of ThunderClan.

Mousestar was glaring at a pale brown tom with scars on his back. "You think you can just walk into ThunderClan camp and not get punished for it, Codheart? I have a mind to shred your pelt until even a buzzard wouldn't want you." Their leader was snarling.

"It's not my fault I was following orders from those in charge." Codheart snapped back, baring his teeth.

"Tigerstar would never send only four warriors to attack us. She'd go all out or not attack us at all." Treesprout meowed, stepping up beside his leader. "Lying to us will only make your punishment worse."

Salmonwing hissed, lashing his tail. "We have that weak little medicine cat apprentice of yours. We brought more than four cats on this mission."

"And yet you only have four cats left in ThunderClan territory." Whisperpaw meowed. "And our medicine cat apprentice is safe and sound, thanks to your apprentice giving her back to us." She sneered, causing Codheart and his companions to get even more furious.

"I'll rip the ears off of that traitorous-"

Mousestar cuffed the warrior around the ear like he would a naughty apprentice. "Silence! You will only speak when we allow you to! Which will be never!" Mousestar took several steps backward, waving his tail for several ThunderClan warriors to take the prisoners away. "Four guards at all times, every warrior will get a chance to watch them."

Leafbranch padded quickly over to the four sisters. "Good work, Spottedpaw, I won't need to fix any of this! Though, I must say, giving you two some poppy seeds wouldn't hurt." The medicine cat nodded toward Stormpaw and Threepaw. "Come with me."
