Eliana Fisher sat down on the sand. Her feet in the water. She closed her eyes, listening to the people around. She loved this feeling.
Suddenly, someone's arms were wrapped around the ginger. "ELLS! I missed you!"
A small laugh escaped from the girl. "I missed you too! It feels like it has been forever."
"Hey! Fisher, Chen! They're here! Hurry up!" The two girls ran to Valerie.
Valerie is a friend to the whole Fishers family. She's the same age as Jeremiah. Valerie and Jeremiah have been friends since forever. She's been there for everything. She was there when Eliana was adopted. Eliana saw her as a sister. She couldn't imagine her life without her.
The only time Valerie wasn't with the Fishers was the summer since her parents would put her in camp, but this summer, her parents finally allowed her to spend the summer with them.
Once the three girls made it to the front of the house, they saw the Conklins. "Belly!" Eliana ran towards the black haired girl. "Oh my god! How did you get prettier?"
Once Eliana let go, Belly gave Ayla a hug. Once the two girls pulled away, Belly noticed the older brunette in front of her.
"Isabel, this is Valerie. Valerie, this is Isabel." Eliana introduced the two to each other.

After greeting the Conklins and introducing them to Valerie and doing the "Belly flop," the girls went into Valerie's room.
"So what do you think of Belly?" The two younger teens sat on the bed as the older girl unpacked her things.
"She seems nice." Valerie put her clothes in the drawer. "I think we would get along."
"Really?." Ayla said as she braided her best friends hair. "You guys are like opposite."
"So? Opposite attract. You know that, right?" Valerie placed a few photos on her mirror. "So what is there to do here?"
"You can go swimming, tan. We go flower picking al-"
Ayla interrupted Eliana. "Strawberry picking too! The strawberries are so good. We have to go soon."
The two other girls chuckled at Ayla. "Like I was saying there are also parties-"
Once again, the black haired girl interrupted Eliana. "Her brothers won't let us go. Which I'm okay with, but if we want to go, we should be allowed to go."
Valerie smiled at the two. "You guys want to go to parties?"
