Chapter 13: The Blood Lady

In An abandoned house at the end of the city)

Four men, sat around a table, discussing about something. The house was located at an area where anyone rarely dared to go. The place was surrounded by trees, it was almost like a small forest. The trees always made eerie noises, and no one dared to go there, it was rumoured that if anyone goes inside that forest he will never come back.

Basically it was a rumour started by a group of highschoolers when they went there for a ghost hunt. The five boys ran an YouTube channel named "Friends with Ghosts" where they posted about paranormal activities they have faced in real life.

----Flashback(10 years ago)----

It was one Saturday night during winter, a group of five highschoolers went there for a ghost hunt. They entered the house, It was quite, dark and they could even hear their own hearts beating, lub dub, lub dub!!. The atmosphere was creepy. They turned on their flashlights, all they could see was broken chairs and spider webs all over. Suddenly one guy's torch light shined on an area full of blood stains and some broken bones, all five of them screamed and ran out of the house.

The five young men came running out from the forest, screaming and panting.

One of the guys said "I think it's haunted, and as you saw there's blood and broken bones, I think many people actually went there, but they never came back and it's a sign that they died" .

The other boys agreed with him. Later this story spread throughout their school like a fire, many people added their own theories about the blood and broken bones, few weeks later, this news even reached the people outside their school, this way the whole gossip about their experience was spread throughout the entire city, which lead to the start of the famous rumour, the rumour of "The Blood Lady".

"The Blood Lady" was believed to be the spirit of a young woman named Jennie who died in her early twenties.

She was believed to be a quite and introvert child, with no friends, because of her nature she was heavily bullied throughout highschool and college, but her parents didn't care. She was the least favourite child, her parents didn't love her as much as they loved her brother, she was more like a burden to them. Her parents used to beat her for any slight mistake. One day, her mother stabbed Jennie with a knife, inorder to get rid of their 'burden'. She kept stabbing her until the poor girl bled to death. It's said she is still searching for her mother so that she can kill her, drink her blood and finally move onto afterlife. So whoever goes to that house, is killed by her, as she thinks they might be her parents, since she doesn't remember their faces anymore.

This whole story was fake and made up. And there was no "Blood Lady" in that house. Neither the house was haunted.

The four men were discussing about an important matter when suddenly, the door opened and a man wearing a black coat and a black mask entered. As soon as the four men noticed him, they stood up, and bowed to him.

The man in the black coat, made a sign by lifting up his arm as the four men sat down on their respective chairs.

"So how is the work going?" He asked them. "As for today the total count is 5" one of the guys replied. "And for the whole week?" The masked man asked.

"Total 22"

"Hmm good work" the masked man praised them. Suddenly another man wearing a black hoodie entered the room, he was holding another man by his collar, he dragged him and pushed him, as he landed on his knees infront of the five men. The man was shaking and there was an expression of fear on his face. The man who brought him shouted "He is a total Jerk, a betrayer!!"

The masked man asked him to calm down on a low and serious tone. The guy in the hoodie apologized, the masked man asked for an explanation about what was going on.

The guy in the hoodie started explaining, "Sir today, it was our turn for work, so we both went together, after our first five preys were down, he pointed out towards our sixth target, who was a handsome young man buying groceries, according to our first rule, we always befriend our target, so we did the same, after few minutes, this jerk suddenly changed sides and told me that he tricked me and now it's over for all of us, that man who was buying groceries was a high rank police officer, and this jerk recorded videos of all of our wrongdoings, which he showed him. I immediately killed the policeman on spot and dragged this jerk after breaking his leg with me, or else he would have escaped"

The man on the floor shouted , he said "SIR I DIDN'T DO IT!!, HE IS LYING!!". He kept crying and screaming. The masked man stayed silent, he didn't utter a word. He turned towards the man on floor, stared deep into his eyes and asked "So is this true?" "N-No boss, he is lying, I didn't do any of this" he replied.

"Sir if u don't believe me, I have audio proofs, I always keep my phone's voice recorder on, you can hear it" he handed the phone to the masked man, as he played the voice record.

"S-Sir, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do it" the man on the floor kept screaming and crying, and begging for forgiveness. The masked man walked towards him, and lifted up his chin, "Betrayers have no place in this world" and gave him a tight slap.

"Ryan and Jack, tie him up... let me deal with him" the masked man ordered. "N-No sir ... please NOOOOOO" the man screamed as Ryan and Jack dragged him with them.

They both placed him on a chair and tied him to it, with his hands behind the chair. The masked man stood infront of him with a knife. "S-S-Sir please forgive me" the guy kept begging, his eyes were widened as tears ran down his cheeks. The masked man, lifted up the knife and SQWELP!!! the next moment he saw the knife buried into his thigh, and blood oozing out from the spot. The tied man screamed in pain, while the masked man laughed.

"where should I stab next" the masked man pulled out the half buried knife from his thigh and thrusted it into his belly, the terrified man coughed blood, he was exhausted from all the struggling and screaming so he finally gave up, it was now clear to him that today is his last day on earth. The other guys stood there horrified.

The masked man lifted up his chin again, "with this mouth... WITH THIS MOUTH...you tried to betray me..I won't let you speak anymore" he pulled his tongue out and sliced it into two pieces.

The other men, were terrified at this site,they wanted to ran away from there but they couldn't, without their boss's order. Their boss treated them like his puppets, he pulls their strings as he pleases.

"You think that I'm gonna let you die this easily? No I'm gonna torture you, make you suffer and then.. finally kill you, you have to pay for betraying me honey!!" The masked man continued "Ryan give me the hammer please" Ryan immediately did as his boss said.

The masked man held the hammer infront of the tied guy's face, "you see this?? Now I'm gonna break your fingers one by one, you recorded videos? Now you won't be able to hold anything, not even a strand of hair, Phone is out of questions" The masked man untied both of his hands, and placed them on the flat wooden chair handle, he lifted up his hammer and smashed his fingers one by one into pieces.

"Sir I think that's enough, you should just kill him now" Ryan requested. "I... don't....like.... anyone.... INTERRUPTING ME!!! do you want to be in his place too?" The masked man asked angrily.

"S-Sorry sir" Ryan bowed his head.

"So now I have taken your ability to speak and ability to hold, what's next? Should I take your ability to see as well? The guy's eyes widened he shook his head, the masked guy once again took the knife in his hand, he pointed the knife towards his eye, and goughed out his eye balls. First, it was tears running down his cheeks, now it's a blood steam.

"Ok that's enough I guess, now I should kill you" the masked man took out a gun from his pocket, and shot the tied man on forehead. "Bye bye betrayer, that's what you get for betraying James Bell" saying this, he laughed like a maniac.
