~Finn's POV~

I was just looking out the window in class out of boredom but the teacher announced that there was a 2 person project.

"Not again we had a group project last week..." I thought to myself.

Suddenly the class clown Shadow started heading my way.

"Oh gosh... please don't talk to me..." I thought to myself once again.

"Hey bud! I don't wanna see you work alone again so I'll be your partner :)" Shadow put his hand on my shoulder as if we were close friends.

"Oh It's fine I'd like to work by myself..." I tried to stop eye contact.

"Oh come on, It'll be fun!" Shadow elbowed my shoulder, then he looked at me with puppy eyes.

I sighed "Okay fine but we're still acquaintances after this." I rolled me eyes saying this.

"Yay! Let's go to my house to work on the project after school alright?" Shadow said and I nodded.

{At Shadow's house after school}

I knocked on his door and his sister Mystic opened the door.

"Oh, You're Finn right? Shadow mentions you a lot In our conversations, Come In I prepared food." Mystic said welcoming me.

I walked In and it felt welcoming and happy unlike my monotone colored home.

"Oh hey bud! You're a bit late but It's fine, And we can stay In my room :)" Shadow said and I followed him to his room.

I sat on his bed and I'm kind of embarrassed to admit that his bed was comfortable.

"Okay so when can we start?" Shadow asked.

"Oh we can start whenever you like." I replied.

"Okay so we can start now :3" Shadow said and then I nodded and I sat beside him on the floor.

We started working on our project that was to make a poster for science, To be honest It was fun but I didn't know If we were friends or not.

"Finn are we friends..?" Shadow suddenly asked.
