In ancient times, when vampires dominated the earth and became the majority, Min Jun, a young vampire, lived in a world full of conflicts and pain. Despite his extraordinary strength and speed, his heart was filled with sorrow and loss. Min Jun had lost the love of his life, Hyun Dae, in a bloody battle where he could not protect his beloved.
The long nights passed for Min Jun as if they were eras of pain. Every moment he remembered Hyun Dae's face, his laughter, and his words, it increased his agony. He blamed himself for failing to protect the person who meant everything to him. His life turned into a spiral of darkness and despair, and he began to lose the will to live in this harsh world.
One bleak night, while Min Jun was wandering in the forest near his old castle, he encountered an old man with wise features and deep eyes. Min Jun stopped in front of the old man, feeling as if something strange connected him to this person. The old man spoke in a calm and wise voice:
"Young man, I see in your eyes a deep sorrow and indescribable loss. Do you know that love can transcend the boundaries of time?"
Min Jun looked at the old man in astonishment and asked in a hoarse voice, "What do you mean by that?"
The old man smiled and continued, "You may not be able to protect your beloved in this time, but there is hope. After a thousand years, your beloved will return to life again. Time can grant you a new chance to be with him."
The old man's words were like a thunderbolt to Min Jun. Tears began to fall from his eyes as he grasped the idea. Though a thousand years seemed like eternity, the hope of seeing Hyun Dae again was enough to revive some strength within him.
Min Jun decided to enter a long slumber, one that would last a thousand years, hoping to wake up one day to find Hyun Dae reborn. He chose the deepest caves in the mountains, a secret place where no one could find him. Before closing his eyes and entering his slumber, he whispered softly:
"I will wait for you, Hyun Dae. I will wait for you until the end of time."
With those words, Min Jun sank into a deep slumber, leaving behind all pain and sorrow, surrounded by the hope of a new reunion with the love of his life after a thousand years.

Thus began Min Jun's journey into his eternal slumber, believing that time carried for him a new chance to embrace the love he had lost in another era.
