"It's boring", suzy whined to mia.
Mia just sighed helplessly.Homework is supposed to be monotonous.
It's not like you can dance around while doing it!
"Be good .After this we can go for icecream" mia coaxed her like a child.
Suzy perked up at this. She started solving her math worksheets at a scary speed.Mia smiled to herself. Her little friend was quite the genius herself .
The worksheets made even mia stumble at times but suzy will breeze through it .
MIA SWAYER♠️
It's easy for her. Everything is.
She doesn't realise she is more brilliant than others at certain things.Only if that manages to catch her interest.
Sometimes everything is so bland and and easy to her, it humiliates me.
The question she can solve in seconds in her mind takes me whole minute with writing down the process to understand it.
That's part of being friend with a 'prodigy'.
You have to work your ass of to walk beside them...Or you might get left behind in the darkness.
My life is not beautiful.
What I want I never got.Suzy is one of the few aspects of my life I genuinely cherish.
I don't know how she became so important to me.Especially when I hated her guts before.

________________________________The day was warm or was it cold. I don't remember correctly.
But I do remember my dad pushed my mom violenty towards our bookshelf .My mom screamed as few thick books fell on her head.
She cried and cursed as her forehead bled crimson red.My mom kept crying and shaking like she always did.My father knelt down and apologized again and again like he always did.
I kept quiet as I walked out our frontdoor.
I believe in this one sentence deeply,-The world looks ugly when you are to used to living in ugly.
So seeing an ordinary picture of a girl ,my age swinging in the playground as her dad pushed her and mom laughed at their antics felt extremely gut punching.
I hated that someone my age could have that kind of life while I wander around everyday like an orphan.
I was six and so full of misery about my life.
I wordlessly turned back.I didn't have the courage to step into their colourful world.
I took a step before I heard someone shout "stop''
I turned around and saw the red haired girl slightly shorter than me- march towards me with as imposing aura as she could muster.
It was honestly funny looking .'Be my friend', she ordered.
I remained quiet.
She tried bribing me,
'I have chocolate and snacks at home, I have very pretty dolls; If you become my friend I can give them to you'.I wonder if she can actually give them to me- selflessly.
I looked towards her parents. They smiled at me kindly from afar. Her mom waved at me looking slightly embarrassed by their daughters shenanigans.
I stepped towards her only leaving inches between us.Looking down at her I asked gritting my teeth,
' Oh yeah! Can you share your parents too?'
She looked taken aback by my sudden intrusion in her personal space.
Good.Be scared. Better than showing pity like other kids.
