Starla's POV
After Kaden drops me off, I do some work around the house. I'm in the middle of the library when someone decides to ring the doorbell. I was there alone because I gave the house and kept the day off. The guards were there, but they were only to interfere if I was in any danger.
Getting up out of the floor, I dust my ass off and head for the door.
"Who's there?" I ask as I get within hearing rage
"Starla, I need to talk to you," Sebastian says from the other side
"I have nothing to say to you, Sebastian, go away," I tell him
"I'm in trouble Starla please let me in," he says
I bite on my bottom lip because the last time we were together, he tried to seduce me. Not to mention the way he talked to me.
"Come on, Starla, I know I said and done somethings I really shouldn't have, but someone is after me, and they are going to kill me," he says
Tears come to my eyes because I remember all the things we used to do as children. "I can't." I cry out
"Let me in Starla," he says angrily this time
"Get away from the door, Sebastian, or I'll have my guards after you," I tell him
"What guards?" he asked
I back away from the door. Looking through the windows, I didn't see anyone. I run upstairs toward the room. I could hear Sebastian beating and yelling for me to let him in. I call Kaden as I get to my room.
"Hey baby, I'm on my why," he told me
"Sebastian is outside the house he's lost his fucking mind" I cry out
"Where's the guards" Kaden asked
"I don't know, Kaden.."
"Go to the safe room, now Starla" Kaden tells me
As I move toward my parents room I hear the door downstairs give way. I run towards their room making it just in time. I hit the red button that makes the alarm go off as I inter. Sinking to the floor I cry.
"Starla" Sebastian yells for me over and over
I had forgotten how to trun the speakers off. So I sit there crying and listening.
"Starla listen to me. I'm sorry baby please forgive me." He say "Starla get out here"
I swer he has split personality disorder. One moment he's talking all sweet then his mad as hell.
"OH shit Starla, oh shit I gotta go" he says
"Mrs Gregory" I hear another voice but I don't move
"She's in the safe room" I hear Kaden says
I jump up rushing to the door. I remember the code my daddy gave me to get out. Putting it into the keyboard I stand back and watch as it lifted up.
"Kaden" I yell out
He runs up the stairs "Are you ok" he ask
"I think he was dunk" I tell him
"We searched the property and his no where to be found" an office says
"Where are the guards" I ask
"Boss" one of the officers say
"Yes" the lead officer ask
"I think we found the guards sir" He says
"Where" Kaden asked
"Dead in a ditch" the officer says
