The next day,

Dr. Patil had given a heads up on Khushi's discharge as she was much better than before. She should just follow a strict diet of spiceless food and continue taking medications for a week along with complete rest.

Ratna was packing all of Khushi's things whereas Arnav came after completing the formalities of discharge and closing the payment through insurance.

" Shall we leave ?" he asked.

" Yes, please drop me to my PG," she said.

He looked at his mother like didn't you speak to her ?

Ratna eyes him like it's your girl, you need to speak. It's not my business to convince her.

He clears his throat.

" Khushi, you are shifting to my house," he muttered in a stern tone.

" What ?" she asked in a shrieking tone.

" You need rest and home food, it would be better if you shift to my house," said Arnav.

" Arnav you have done a lot for me in the last two days, don't take any more tension, I can handle my problems," said Khushi in a low tone.

" I know you can handle your problems, you are a super woman but right now you need rest and proper home food which is not available in your PG. I know how it works there and you won't recover Khushi and typhoid fever might reappear if you don't control your food habits,"he said looking at her seriously.

" Please for your health shift there, I will be there to take care of you" he added with a bit of pleading tone.

Khushi felt dumbstruck with his softness and care.

Why does he care for her this much?

Just why and Why now after all ?

" But Arnav, how can I shift there ?" asked Khushi stumbling a little.

" Why can't you shift ? It's a home with all amenities so what stops you more ?" he asked.

" Mumma and Papa," she said with the same stuttering voice of her.

" They are not here for you Khushi, it's you who is suffering and they aren't least bothered about anything. Why worry about them ?" he asked.

" Okay," she said looking at his eyes where his eyes glistened with her words.

Now she is going to stay with him and what more is important than this ?

Arnav picked up all the bags and together, Ratna and Khushi left for his house.

He drove towards the Prestige Shantiniketan building.

Khushi looked astonished as they entered the complex. It was one of the very posh societies of Whitefield and it was hell beautiful.  Arnav parked the car in the basement. The security took the luggage and left to his apartment where he led the both of them to the 7th floor in the block A.

Flat no 703, was his lovely apartment with his nameplate clearly visible as Dr. Arnav Singh Raizada at the entrance.

" Khushi you stay outside let me bring Aarti for you," said Ratna rushing inside where she brought an aarthi thaal.

" Why aunty ?" asked Khushi with a confused look.

" You are coming here for the first time right and you came from the hospital, so this is needed for must," she said circling the thaal where Arnav stood beside Khushi with his arms folded with a smile.

Khushi came inside the house and her eyes gaze went to the well organised hall with decent furniture.

On the half of the portion of the hall, was an open kitchen along with a long balcony, which added beauty to the hall.
