Pulling the keycard from his pocket, Elijah pushed the door open and waved me into his hotel room. Stepping past him, I drew in a deep breath to calm my nerves. Instead, I simply inhaled his scent more which drove my hormones crazier than they already were.
My heart pounded in my ears as my hands visibly shook. Alarms rang in my head, drowning out any excitement or lust I'd previously held. It suddenly felt like the walls were caving in on me. I couldn't do this. My eyes darted around his suite like a trapped animal. It was massive. On the top floor, it extended in all directions. To the left, a dining room sat with a low-hanging chandelier. On the right, an expansive living area with a grand fireplace sprawled out. Directly ahead, a wall adorned with floor-to-ceiling windows showcased a breathtaking view of the river and downtown area, complemented by a walkout balcony.
I couldn't do this. Whirling around, I moved to dash out the door. My foot halted mid-step as a gasp slipped past my lips, startled by what my eyes beheld.
Elijah stripped off his jacket and tossed it aside. Grabbing the hem of his shirt, he pulled it over his head and dropped it to the floor. I stood in shocked silence as my eyes took in the spectacular sight of his bare torso. Covered in black ink, his pecks were defined and below was a six-pack of abs. A small patch of brown hair led down below his pants.
My words stumbled out, confused and frightened. "What...what are you doing? You should probably slow down."
"That's not what you came here for." Pulling his belt off, it snapped as he withdrew it from his waist and tossed it aside.
My mind blanked as I stumbled over my words. My eyes remained rooted on his perfectly sculpted chest. "I mean...it is. It's just...shouldn't we..."
My words caught in my throat as he closed the distance between us with a couple of quick strides. He grabbed my waist and pulled me against him. My hands flew up, landing on his firm chest. My fingertips burned at the touch of his skin to mine. Before I could protest, his lips crashed over mine.
It took only a second for my body to surrender and melt against him. My hands slid up his hard chest, over his shoulders, and into his full, perfect hair at the back of his head. I was greedy and pulled him in closer. Deeper. His lips devoured mine in a passionate, fiery kiss that made me forget my name. My knees turned to jelly as he moved with expert precision, drowning me in an all-consuming need for him.
Pressing me backward, my back hit the cool glass. His body pressed against mine, flattening me against it. His erection strained at his pants and poked into my abdomen. The physical proof of his attraction opened my mouth to his exploring tongue.
His hands slid down my body, over my breasts, and to my shirt's end. He clutched the fabric in his hands, grinding his hard cock against me to ensure me of his arousal before pulling my shirt up. Without hesitation, my arms rose above my head for him to strip me. His lips left mine for a fraction of a second as he ripped the shirt off before they crushed back atop mine. His hands roamed over my bare skin, tracing over every curve I was so self-conscious of. Every piece of skin he touched burned with a flaming need for him. The hunger in his kiss only increased as his hands slid to my back and unclasped my bra in one quick, efficient movement.
My bra fell to my feet as his hands replaced the fabric. He cupped my breasts in his hands before his fingers gave my nipples a gentle pinch. A moan escaped my lips as he drove me wild. Desire coursed through my veins, obliterating any care or worry. His lips parted from mine and trailed across my cheek, over my jaw, and down my neck. His teeth nipped gently at the sensitive skin of my neck before covering the same spot in a soft kiss. Moving lower, he took a nipple into his mouth and swirled it with his tongue.
