Standing here on this peak she feels at peace. The adrenaline rush of if fills her, completes her. If the wind is strong enough, if she's tossed over the edge like a rag doll, if she jumps."Only Angels can fly." She whispers. She's standing on the edge. The only place where she feels truly alive. Yet the one place where she is to die. It's funny she thinks, this is the place I feel alive, but this is the place where I shall die.
And just as she's about to jump she remembers that day back in school where her teacher spoke of Angels. She spoke so highly of them and how they are so pure and perfect. She had felt so diminished to nothing, that she let her wall drop. All the pain and hurt surged through her again, exhausting . Her teacher ended the lecture with four simple words "Only Angels can fly." These Angels are divine creatures, the only ones worthy of flying to heaven.
