The Substitute || NamTaeMin (REWRITTEN)

Chapter Two

Taehyung awkwardly scratched at the back of his neck as his friends suggested throwing a "small"  party to celebrate he and Jimin getting together. Usually, he was in for it, but after he promised Jimin that he was gonna tome doen his entire partying thing down he wasn't really sure.

He really didn't want Jimin to think that he wasn't serious about becoming better. "I don't think I can. I have a tutoring session with Jimin. Can't miss it for the world." He shrugs, not really interested. "I had a feeling he'd say that" Jungkook groans, letting his head fall back, and in the process almost falls out his seat.

At the moment, they were at the cafeteria, initially just having lunch like every other person here when Hoseok decided to open his mouth. "See, it's not that I don't want to go" Taehyung says half heartedly, throwing a fry into his mouth, "But I promised Jimin. And no offense, I'll take a 2 hour tutoring session with Jimin over a party with you guys any day" He says rather frankly.

Hoseok winces in mock pain, fisting the place over his heart dramatically. "That's it. We've lost him forever". Taehyung just chuckles at his friend's childishness, and turns to the male seated beside him who hadn't said a word since they sat down.

"Hyung?" Taehyung calls for the man who had his heads in the clouds, drawing everyone's attention to them. The male had his air pods in and Taehyung had to tap him to get his attention cause Yoongi really hatted it when people pulled out his air pods when he wasn't concentrating.

Yoongi grunts, and pulls out what one of the ears of his air pods out. He turns to Taehyung, and does a swift once over of everyone at the table. "What's up? Why's everyone looking at me?"

"Jin hyung asked if you'd go on a date with him?" Jungkook snorts, causing Hoseok to land him a soft slap on his arm, chuckling, though he knew Yoongi wouldn't find that funny in the slightly. "Ha ha, so funny" He laughs dryly, attempting to put his air pods back in when Taehyung holds his arm to keep him from doing it.

"You're oddly quiet... Well just more quiet that usual" Taehyung says, some sort of calm concern in his eyes when he looked at him. "I'm fine" Yoongi answers shortly and places his pods back in.

Taehyung decided against intervening further and just turns to look around the cafeteria, eyes searching the room for one person and one person only.

When he finally spots the blonde a goofy smile crawls it's way up his lips and waves childishly at his boyfriend. Jimin quickly meets his eyes and blows a kiss his way, which Taehyung catches, causing everyone watching to cringe, aww or foam at the mouth with jealousy.

You could tell who were doing the cringing.

"So you're seriously bailing on us because of him?" Jungkook asks, pointing over at the blonde's table, causing Hoseok to smack his finger down.

"Just tell the entire world that were talking about him Kook" Hoseok deadpans, shaking his head. To which the younger just pouts. But Jimin had already turned to look at their table, meeting Taehyung's eye instantly.

The younger smiles, and sends a small wave his way, not forgetting to blow him a kiss in the process. Causing Jimin to blush and cover his face, turning back to his food bashfully. Jungkook bangs his hand on the table, drawing Taehyung's attention back to the group. "What if we can get Jimin to come. Would you come then?" Jungkook asks, eyes gazing into hus soul in the same way he did when his competitive spirit began to flare up.

Taehyung slumps back in his chair, shoulder slouched, not really caring much about whatever Jungkook wanted to do, as long as Jimin was safe and   he managed to get him to the party then he was down to go to anywhere as long as he'd be spending time with his boyfriend.

"Okay, sure. Do whatever, just don't hurt my boyfriend"

Jungkook smirks, he knew what he had to do.
