Chapter 6 - FULL

ANYA'S POV

I was shaking as the waiter came.

"And for you miss? " she said with a fake smile on her face

Why did She have to ask me first?

I was just planning to ask for whatever he was getting.

I just decided to order the first thing I saw.

"C-can I please have the Escargot? "

"Of course and for you sir?"

"Eiesbein"

"Okay. Your orders will be in shortly"

Then she left.

A FEW MINUTES LATER

"Here you go," she said as she as she placed our meals on the table.

I was Taking the first bite wondering how it would taste.

When I finally got the courage to bite and swallow it I discovered it tasted amazing.

"This is amazing"

"I didn't realize you liked snails so much. "He said with that all-too-good smirk on his face"

"What? " I said in disgust

"Escargot means snails in French sweetheart"

As soon as he said that I ran to the bathroom and vomited.

When I came back I met him with a glare.

"What did I do sweetheart? "

"You knew what that was and didn't tell me? "

"Wanted to see your reaction. But you seemed to be enjoying it so why did you stop"

"Snails"

"Fair enough. But aren't you gonna eat that dear?"

"No"

He then took a fork full of his Eiesbein and forced it into my mouth.

"How did that taste love? "

"Fine I guess"

"Want more? "

"No. I wasn't even that hungry anyway"

My stomach then betrayed me by rumbling.

He then burst out in laughter at the scene as the entire restaurant turned their heads towards our table.

"Wanna leave and go to,idk, go to Chick-fil-A? "

I had to admit I was surprised by his question but so glad that he wasn't mad I wasted his money.

"I'd love that thank you"

"Let's go"

He then lifted me up but as we were exiting the waiter shouted at us to pay the check.

"Nah the food was mid and don't dare shout at me I am the vampire prince"

"Oh Prince Alexander my deepest apologies," she said with a look of fear in her eyes.

1 HOUR LATER

Chick-fil-A was closed so we ended up going to KFC which was) Ike a twenty-minute drive out of town.

We were now on our way back to the castle.

"Alex? "

"Yes, dear? "

"Thank you for tonight I really enjoyed it"

"I really shouldn't be getting any praise I was planning on guilt-tripping you so I you guilt-tripping

"Oh. You can do it now if you want"

"Really? "

"Yeah, the pain lasts about 20 minutes so it would probably stop hurting by the time I'm ready to sleep. "

"Ok"

He then parked the car on a random sidewalk and turned off the engine.

I gasped as I felt his lips touch mine.

Instantly, memories of my childhood instant came rushing back so I quickly pulled away.

"W-what was that? " I said with tears in myself.

"I just wanted to make you feel good before I bit you. I'm sorry if that triggered something"

I was still shaking in fear.

"How about this, I won't bite you until tomorrow deal? "

"Deal"
