(✿◞◟) ✶ AFTER THE TALENT show,star decided to stay at Devon's house , not like she stays at her house majority of the time.
as the bus pulled up at the wheeler household star leaned in and gave Devon a soft kiss "I'll stop by tonight" she whispered as she gently pulled away "ahuh" Devon muttered in a daze
Star chuckled softly and gently kissed him on the lips. "Come on, Star! You two can kiss later," Junior exclaimed as he walked out of the bus.
she rolled her eyes and stood up "bye dev , i love you!" star said as she walked out of the bus "i love you too star!" Devon exclaimed from the bus window
star smiled and jogged towards Junior and Jake, and as the three entered, star took a seat on the steps and sighed "I despise school," she grumbled.
Junior entered the security code repeatedly, but it consistently failed, catching Jake's attention as he turned to look at him. "oh, logan changed the code. It's bell lap now." Jake states
With a raised brow, Star observed as Jake entered the code and watched as it successfully worked. Junior caught her eye, making her shrug before she stood up and followed after Jake.
"hey , you want a popsicle ?" Jake asks Junior "no. thank you." Junior replied as he went through the mail
Star hops on the counter "i want one" she said with a smile , jake hands her a popsicle "thanks jakey" she said , Jake's cheeks flushed slightly before he glanced over at Junior.
"what ?" Jake asks "nothing." Junior replied before sighing "it's just , i don't need you offering me popsicles in my own house. You know what i mean ? Annie's been making those for me since i was three years old."
"So ?" Jake asks as he steps closer to the counter, star silently ate her popsicle, her feet gently swaying.
"so could you just stop trying so fucking hard ? Okay ?" Junior states "juni." Star states as she turns to look at Junior who stared at the mail
"Call 911." Jake said in a panicking tone , star burrows furrowed in confusion "what are you doing?" Junior asks as Jake glanced around
"Call 911."
Junior turns and walks deeper into the kitchen and pauses, confused. Star hops off the counter and walks over to Junior before exclaiming, "holy shit!"

STAR SIGHED SOFTLY AS she laid in Devon's arms "Annie was so nice.." she muttered as Devon gently caressed her back
Ms. Evans stood by the dresser in Devon's room, her expression solemn. "I know, it's very sad," Ms. Evans states before looking at Devon.
"Look, i have to head back to the office for a while. Did you eat anything?" She asks"I'll have something at the party."
"What about Jake?" She asks , Devon and star stared at her in confusion "how would i know ? It's not like we hang in the same crowd" Devon asks
"Even now that he's living at junior's?"
"No." Devon replied , Ms. Evans looked at Star "what about you star ? You're always hanging out at junior's "
Star shrugged "we barely exchange words whenever I'm at junior's" she mumbled
"did Jake ever say anything about his father ? About his father hurting him ?" She asks the two teens
"What do you mean ?" Devon asks "like , maybe because he's gay ?" Ms. Evans states
"Bisexual" star corrects her
"bisexual." Ms. Evans said with a nod
"How would we know ?" Devon asks "i don't know." Ms. Evans' said
Star pursed her lips "Ms. Evans what are we talking about ?" She asks
Ms. Evans shook her head slightly with a slight smile "I'm just doing my job." She said as she walks over to the two teens
"As a mom or a cop?" Devon asks
" a bit of both , i guess." She said with a smile before kissing Devon and star's forehead
"Have fun at the party." "Later." "Bye Ms. Evans!"
Devon quietly takes out his phone when the door closes. Star looks at the screen briefly and then looks up to meet Devon's gaze "...you and Jake," she muttered.
Devon let out a sigh and gently kissed her lips "babe," he said softly, Star shook her head "whatever, I'm going home...gotta get ready for the party," she said softly and stood up
Devon pulls her into his lap, embracing her tightly. "What's wrong?" he asks, concern in his voice.
"why didn't you tell me ? i thought we tell each other everything ?" Star whispered quietly, Devon rested his head in the crook of her neck and sighed
"why didn't you tell me that you like Jake?" Devon's voice was filled with curiosity as Star's eyes widened in surprise at his revelation. "W-what?" she stammered, taken aback by his words. She hadn't expected him to know.
"Come on, Star, we've known each other since elementary school, so of course, I can tell," he said softly.
star sighed "it's just ... we've been together for a year, Dev, and I love you — admitting that I have feelings for someone else feels so wrong.."
Devon kissed her neck softly "hey it's fine ... you can't help who you love" , star turns to look at him "it's not , I'm supposed to be the person who loves only you." She said
Devon gently stroked her cheek, his voice soothing. "Calm down, Star. I completely understand because I have feelings for Jake too. We both share the same affection."
star sighed softly "you should have at least told me... I would have understood," she muttered "likewise," Devon said with a chuckle
Star smiled gently and kissed him. "I really should go now, Devon. I'll see you at the party," she whispered.
Devon smiled brightly "yeah , can't wait to see your costume" he exclaimed , as Star bit her lip "you'll love it" she assured him
