Standing outside the palace I realized something. It had always looked stupid.
Stupidly big.
The guards? Same thing. Stupid.
That majio girl Darius saved? Stupid.
All of it.

When they can't even defend against enemies to protect a palace this big?
Stupid.
But this is, unfortunately, a empire that i serve.
Until my dying breath.

I could feel someone. It looks like Raven was behind me.
"Duke Theron? His highness the crown prince is waiting for you." He said with his head bowed a little.
I called him Raven the first day I met him because of his black hair and his almost black eyes.
Shocking isn't it?
Although I realized I'm very good at naming people.
He acts like a Raven too. Even dresses like one as well, all black sometime with a white shirt underneath though.
That's how I know he's in a good mood.
"I'm sorry which one do I have an audience with Raven?
He laughed under his breath, lifted his head, and I looked at his clothes. White shirt.
Good mood.
"Ah but of course, why would it be the senile old emperor who can't even make an appearance in his own empire?" I muttered under my breath, and Raven started his usual silent laughter.
That's the only thing he does that's different from the Raven.
No noise.
"Hm... I guess I am a bit traitorous after all look what's coming out of this foul mouth of mine." I said so Raven could hear.
Raven looked at me like 'really you? No far from it.'
And then laughed.
I joined him.
And then my fifty guards from the dukedom followed me to the castle of our empire.

When we entered the crown prince's side of the palace he yelled at us the minute I opened the door to his room.
"No! Tell your men to stand outside!"
He wasn't even looking at the door but instead he was behind his desk turned facing the window arms behind him.
I guess he saw us outside.
I came in with Raven and told the other men to stand outside and wait.
"It wont be long" I told them. Then shut the door.
"I will never understand you!" The crown prince yelled the minute the door was shut.
