The sky was clear, with not a cloud in sight. Bushes and flowers lining the buildings were in full bloom while the trees were green. However, the trees by the crossroads were an electric purple. A group of people stood in the center of the crossroads. No one knew why, yet their curiosity drew them towards the group. More and more people became curious and started flooding in, and the group grew to the size of an ocean. Swarms of people were leaving their cars and surrounding buildings to join in and learn what was happening.
In the very center of the group, a girl was lying unconscious on the ground with a white and blue space shuttle not too far off. She looked to be in her mid-twenties. She had a similar appearance to a human but not quite. The girl has hair falling to her ankles, and the shade of black you'd see in the night sky a total void of color. There was something strange about her hair, though, that gave it color. It looked like there were blue and white stars in her hair like a bioluminescent beach at night. She has olive-tan skin with random splotches of pale skin. Freckles of constellations dot her cheeks and nose dimly glowing a pearly white.
The girl woke up with a groan and slowly opened her eyes to be greeted by a crowd of people staring down at her. Her eyes widened in surprise as she took in the number of people surrounding her and that she was not on her home planet. She quickly sat up off the ground and backed up into some people before turning around and bumping into someone else behind her.
"Hey, are you okay, miss? You seem... lost." An old lady asked in a kind and concerning voice for the young woman. The girl looked at the old woman in confusion and shock, with a hint of fear mixed in her pink eyes. She couldn't understand why there were people on this planet. There wasn't supposed to be anyone here, and worst of all, she couldn't understand a word that old lady said!
(Apologies for the interpretation, but I didn't post this in the prologue, and I'm far too lazy to fix that. So, I am putting it here.
Everything she says starts with a Z, and between or sometimes before every vowel is a B. For example, every would become: Zverby. Another example would be between becoming: Zetweben. That's how her language works. Oh, and I is just Z and A is X)"Z zo zot zundberstand zubo. Zhere zm Z? Zy zambe zs Zwyda." Zwyda introduced herself as she put a hand over her heart with a dip of her head to show some respect before she pushed her way through the crowd of people. After a while of shoving, pushing, and feeling uneasy and fearful of everything, she got to her space shuttle.
