—chapter two
Lowkey – Rochelle Jordan

—Anailah—

"Mmph" i mumble into the surface my face was laid on, groaning when a sharp pain comes to my head and i finally gain consciousness.

Where the hell am i?

I attempt to push myself up, but a arm is hugging me firmly at my waist, limiting my movement.

Wait a minute.

Did i...?
No way.

Bzz bzz

A phone buzzes, prompting him to grunt and let go of my waist.

"Turn that off." He groans. Rude.

I reach over to the nightstand, grabbing the phone and reading the screen.

"It's yours." I mumble, giving it to him and sliding off the bed. I make my way towards the bathroom, examining the room. There were papers everywhere, clothes all over the floor, and im pretty sure there's whiskey spilled on my carpet.

Fuck.

I almost scream looking at my disheveled state in the mirror. I'm dressed in nothing but a bra and a huge shirt which im pretty sure belongs to that man(I forgot his name already), and my newly silk pressed hair is tangled beyond belief.

My phone on the counter starts ringing, and seeing as it's Arielle i pick it up immediately.

"Hey Rainy!" She quips, using my nickname.

"Hey Ari, do you have any pain medicine? I ran outta aspirin and i'm super hungover." I ask. She conveniently lives on the floor above me so i'm always getting her pain medicine.

"Yup. I'll be down in a sec." She responds, i hear a man speaking in the background on her end of the line but i chose to ignore it. "The wedding sas beautiful by the way. You guys were so drunk." She giggles.

Huh????

"What wedding?" I ask.

"You don't remember? You and Jude had a whole ass wedding on the beach. You even got rings." She laughs.

No way. This isn't real.

I peer down at my hand and just as she said, theres a wedding ring on my finger.

"OH MY GOSH." I scream, running out of the bathroom.

"Shut up." He groans, sliding the covers over his head.

"WAKE UP WE HAVE A PROBLEM!" I shake him awake.

"What is it." He grumbles, staring at me.

"We got married last night." I flash the ring at him.

"What.?"

—Jude—

We're all sat in Anailah's living room, discussing last night.

By "we" i mean Rodrygo, Eddy, Toby, and Vinicius, as well as Anailah and her friend Arielle.

"Can't you guys just get a divorce? It's not big of a deal." Vini shrugs.

"You have to be married for at least three months to get a divorce in Spain." Anailah interjects, causing us all to flip our heads towards her. "What? I'm in law school."

"This is all your fault!" I yell at her.

"My fault?? We were BOTH drunk." She shouts back.

"You couldn't use your law school knowledge last night but NOW you can?" I shout.

"No! I was dru—"she begins.

"Quit screaming. We'll find a solution." Rodrygo interrupts.

"The media is gonna be all over this." I sigh, sinking into the couch.

"Quit acting like you're some sort of celebrity." She groans. "I can't be stressed over an accidental marriage when i have exams coming up."

"I have bigger things to be worried about." I grumble. "Let's go sort this out." I demand, walking towards the door.

Everyone follows behind me and we all get situated in the elevator. The ride down was pretty long considering the fact that she lived on the tenth floor.

I stare down at her petite figure, taking in her apperance.

She's really pretty, it's no surprise that i married her.
I do stupid things when im drunk.

"What?" She asks, looking up at me.

I put my hand out. "Keys."

"No, I'm driving." She snarls, clenching them in her hands. I snatch them from her as the elevator door opens. "That's carjacking! I'll call the cops."

"Can't really call the cops on your husband, can you?" I remark, prompting her to sigh.

"Which car?" I ask.

"I'm not telling you until you give me my keys back." She smirks, holding her hand out.

She's insufferable.

We all follow her towards her car, and i take a seat in the passenger, while eddy, Arielle, and toby sit behind us, with Vini and Rodrygo in the very back.

Eduardo and Arielle are pretty deep in conversation, but that's not surprising considering they were all over each other last night.

The car ride is pretty long, but we make it to the courthouse and walk in. We immediately rush towards the front desk.

"Can we please get a divorce?" We ask at the same time.

"Uhm.. okay.." the lady behind the desk proceeds. "How long have you been married?" she asks, typing on her keyboard.

"Since last night." Anailah grimaces, and the lady looks between us in shock.

"I can't process that. Three month minimum. Sorry." She quips.

"Please ma'am. We were drunk. It was new years." Anailah begs.

"Nope. Sorry." The lady resists.

"Please. I play for madrid, ill make sure you get ti—"

"No. Please leave." She demands.

"I'll do anythi—" i begin, but i get interrupted by a smack on the back of my head.

"It's no use. Come on." Anailah groans, walking away.

"Don't hit me!" I scowl, following her out of the building.

We go back to the car and just sit in silence.

"What are we gonna do." I ask. At this point everyone is looking at me and Anailah.

"There isn't really anything we can do." She sighs, pulling out of the lot. "I have classes in an hour, can we talk about this tomorrow?"

"Sure." I sigh, looking out the window for the rest of the ride.
