(1). Arranged Marriage?

SIYA'S POV:

"Di, are you sure want to go for this?"

She nodded.

"I'm seriously serious" I gave her a serious look.

"Yes" she said with a wide smile on her face hiding nervousness behind her.

"Oh come on, you are smart, intelligent, educated, beautiful and still young.......why in the hell you want to settle for an arrange marriage?? "

"Siyaaa.....Language"

"Whattt....never mind just think about what I said okay??......I love you... see you later"

"You won't be here to meet my future- in-laws?"

"Gosh Di....you're not getting married today.....it's just a casual first meet up......chill and I have a really important client to handle today. He's coming from Mumbai and if all goes well, I'll get a promotion. So, Fingers crossed."

She just made a sad face that I won't be here and I felt bad....I love her the most but what to do....my life has always been like that.

"Though I'll try to come early but if he irritates you just call me okay? I will teach him such a lesson ki uski 7 pushte bhi yaad rakhengi"

"Siyaaaa "

It sucks I really wanted to be here and meet the guests. I don't want my sister to settle in for an arranged setup....she deserves love at least now. Our whole life it's been just the two of us. No one ever loved us except chachu but he is also scared of his mother.

"Hi....Aditya Malhotra" he said forwarding his hand.

I shook his hand with a forced smile because he was 30 minutes late. Unprofessional isn't it?

Unprofessional but insanely handsome he is. His hair was a bit messy. He was wearing a grey formal suit with plain white shirt which was not so crisped. His biceps were screaming attention and a rolex proudly adorning his watch.

"And you are Siya.....Right?"

"Yeah I'm Siya Kapoor. Nice to meet you Mr Malhotra. Please have a seat"

And I started going through the file he brought while he emerged in a talk with my boss. After talking for some time he left us both in my cabin alone. It's been 15 minutes and he has already yawned 2 times.

"Do you want coffee?" I asked.

"Can I get a bed?"

What the actual......umm control Siya!

"Whattt?" I asked flabbergasted.

"I am really sorry I just had a superfluous schedule. I just came back from Boston and now this meeting and then again I've to leave for some urgent personal work...just excuse me"

I smiled at him "Well...all we can have is a coffee for now."

"So let's go" he said picking up his mobile from the table.

"Where?"

"To get a coffee"

"Umm....we can get coffee in the office itself"

"Oh...yeah of course but that sofa right there is really tempting me"

I got a call from Sateyndra, "Where are you they'll be leaving soon"

"I'm on my way.....just try to hold them for some time pleaseee"

"Ok didi....I will but be fast"

I wonder how I'll reach at time while driving at Delhi's traffic peak time.
