Y/n's pov:

I sat on a corner of the meeting room, while agent rizwan, agent karya and jenny with general Rama were discussing about how am I gonna join the team and so on... And here I am wondering how I am chosen to the pillar inviso although jenny explained it to me... General Rama dismissed everyone expect for me and jenny...

"Y/n, I welcome u to M.A.T.A agency, now this is like Ur second home! Yet u need to protect it and fight against the evil forces, so now if u are kind enough remove ur hair pins and give it to jenny as she will design it as when u enter to the glass lift the hair pins will allow u to transform in to ur training, spy outfit..." general rama explained me wat to do so... I removed my pins and handed them to jenny, which she slightly nodded and left the meeting room...

"Oh yeah! I forgot... leader zain, meaning ur grandpa, said me to hand this over to you, let's say it's a small gift" general rama said, in soft voice... Rare of him to speak like that, I thought...

And then in front of me, the floor opened in a small circular manner and then a red light was shone upwards from inside the hole... I stepped back and a mini robot was floated out of the hole...

"Y/n, grab it!" general ordered me...

"Huh? Oh! Okay!" I stated and reached out for the robot and grabbed it... The red light disappeared and the hole is covered too... Woahh! I have lot of learn about this agency! I thought as I giggled... only to be interrupted by general rama...

"Let me explain what this is..." I nodded slowly as he spoke...

"this is steel boot, a mini robot who can accompany you in your missions, steel boot is just like a human version, has the knowledge of a human, we assume that steel boot will help u and the other members of your team to defeat the trouble markers... and yea this can record everything from when u switched it on... steel boot will also can connect to M.A.T.A agency control room directly when u guys need help and you can also connect ur phone to thing and more over it has good fighting stances, also this can be taken to ur college for that u need to press that orange tiny button, only the ppl working under M.A.T.A can only see steel boot, if not u just need him to ask to turn invisible and he could do it in his own and lastly, this is a garget that supposed to be with an tekno member, yet this was belonging to...."

It was a bit hard to process what e was speaking of but, I managed to digest all the information he said but he just trailed off at the end...

"General!? Why did you sallow at last part? To whom does this belong to!??" I asked in a bit loud voice...

"Huh!?" general questioned and then he sighs...

"It belongs to ur mom, y/n..." general Rama finally blurted out...

"w- What did y- yo- you say!??" my voice cracked as my skin when pale... I can't believe what I am hearing now... ugh! I feel like I am gonna faint... I shook my head and looked at him still clutching steel boot tightly.

"I said it belongs to Ur mom!" general Rama spoke keeping a straight face...

I stepped back slowly, trying really hard to process this now... small information, Ik but....

I turned around and dashed out of the meeting room and to the lift that takes me home... as I stepped in, I sat on the on the floor of the lift still steel boot in my hands and so many questions were revolving around my brain... tears were streaming down my cheeks, now everything is clear to me...
