Drink It

Chapter Three

"A new power?" Chanhee asked.

Sunwoo nodded. "I just made you teleport when you fainted. It's basically impossible for any regular vampires to do that. Sangyeon hyung... He is a special, strong vampire. He has that power. Juyeon doesn't even have it. I just did it."

Chanhee slowly nodded. "Okay so... let's see if you can make me teleport again." Chanhee said.

Sunwoo looked at Chanhee for a couple seconds. He squinted his eyes, clenched his fists, and even imagined Chanhee teleporting to only the other side of the bed. Sunwoo just let out a sigh. It wasn't working at all. "I.. I don't know how I did that before. It just happened."

Chanhee slowly nodded. "Don't worry. You'll get a hold of that power soon."

Sunwoo shook his head. "No, you don't understand. This is very weird. There are a couple powers only leaders or incredibly strong vampires have and teleporting other humans or animals or vampires is one of them. Since I could do it, it means I'm the leader of something and I don't know what it is."

Chanhee tilted his head. "Maybe it just means you're really strong, then."

Sunwoo rolled his eyes. "Me? Strong? I get scared of air. I'm not strong no matter how much I look like it. Maybe if someone hurt me first physically, I'll beat the shit out of them back but other than that, no, I am not strong."

Chanhee shrugged. "Then I don't know how you have that power."

Sunwoo started to lay down next to him. "It's just scary to me," He looked at his hands that were shaking. "Sangyeon is going to kill me." He whispered.

Chanhee got confused. "Why would he kill you?"

"No one is killing anyone," Chanhee's mom said as she walked into the room. Chanhee and Sunwoo quickly sat up. "Who even are you?"

Sunwoo smiled. "I'm Sunwoo. His bestest friend."

Chanhee shook his head. "Bestest is not a word and also, he's not my best friend. That's Hoshi and Baekhyun."

Sunwoo let out a dramatic gasp. "What a fake. I'm at least third right?"

Chanhee nodded. "Maybe... More like fourth though. My first is Hoshi and Baekhyun, then it's Wooyoung, then it's Sunoo, Beomgyu, Jaemin, and Han Jisung."

Sunwoo sighed. "Fourth place but you still like eight people more than me."

Chanhee got confused. "Eight? I said seven people."

"I meant what I said." Sunwoo responded.

Chanhee finally understood but before he could yell at him, his mom joined in. "Can you guys just stop? Jesus. Anyways, don't just come into my house like that. Introduce yourself, talk to me for around 20 minutes, then you can come in." She said.

Sunwoo nodded. "I'm really sorry. He just fainted and I was really worried."

She let out a sigh. "I guess I'll let it slide just this once then. How did you faint, honey?"

Chanhee shrugged and she looked at Sunwoo who started talking. "I don't know either."

She started rolling her eyes. "I can tell and I know that you two are hiding stuff from me but I don't care anymore. I'll be downstairs I guess." She said, leaving the room.

When she left, Chanhee looked at Sunwoo who was fiddling with his fingers. "Still hasn't got off your mind?" Chanhee asked, making Sunwoo nod. "Then let's talk. I've been meaning to ask, how old are you?"

Sunwoo clicked his tongue. "I'm turning 524 in April. I'm considered a young vampire."

Chanhee slowly nodded. "Okay, and Eric is the youngest. How old is he?"
