"You can run but you can't hide."

A poem inspired by the story of "Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Annotated", "How to be a Villain" and the song "The Wolf - SIAMES"

Living in a fairytale,
Of boredom.
Out of your head, your mind,
But not your heart.
You can feel the thirst for flesh thriving out for more.
Where are you set free?
Suppression of the dark thoughts held inside.
Wear a mask what you define as a blend.
Bleed into the crowd as you can't do nothing at all.
Following what is upheld, your thoughts say the opposite of your actions.
Sometimes you'd wonder why you even bother.
You create an addiction to the impulse, be taken over as it swallows you whole.
Helps with the boredom, doesn't it?
