A month had passed since Vivaan had gone to the US. Mriga surely missed him, but she kept herself busy with studies and theatre practice.

On the other side, Vivaan was busy with his program and enjoying it, but he still managed to miss her.
They both were eager to see each other, but neither bothered to make a call.
Finally, ego won, and they tried to stay away from each other to avoid seeming desperate.

In the USA, no girl could resist Vivaan's charming personality. Surprisingly, Vivaan was no longer interested in entertaining such girls. He was all alone there, but the moments he spent with Mriga never made him feel alone. It was the power of love that he failed to understand. He was in constant touch with his dad and Soham, who gave him updates about Mriga.

Meanwhile, in India

, Mriga was surrounded by many people. She received proposals from many boys but ended up refusing them. She was so engrossed in her theatre practice that she forgot about the rest of the world. Every night before sleeping, Mriga cherished the moments she had with Vivaan by looking at his pictures.

Theatre practice, India:

During a break, Mriga was looking at Vivaan's pictures on her phone. The director approached her, and she immediately turned off her phone.

Director: Mriga, I want you to do something for the play.

Mriga: Yes, sir! What do you want me to do?

Director: I want you to, uhmm... Actually, how can I say this?

Mriga: What happened, sir? Did I make a mistake somewhere?

Director: No, no! You are perfect. You are amazing. There’s no doubt about it! Actually, in our last scene, you have to kiss our male protagonist. That's it.

Mriga: Wait! What? This wasn't mentioned in the script.

Director: Yes, I know, but the writer came up with this idea, and it seems like a kiss would play a big role in our script. It will help portray a deep connection between Tess and Alex and help the audience connect with our play more.

I'm sorry, Mriga, but you have to do it.

Mriga: I can't do it, sir. It goes against my principles. If it's that important for the script, you can consider any other girl who's ready to do this.
I'm sorry.

Director: You can't step back. Only two days left for the show. Okay. You don't have to actually kiss him, but act like you are kissing him. Then we will drop the curtains.

Will that be okay with you?

Mriga: Hmm, yeah. That will be okay.

Director: Great. Now let's get back to practice. Come on, guys, the break is over.

Bulging colony, US:

Vivaan was on the phone, talking to his dad.

Vivaan: Yes, Dad, I'm eating on time.

Dad: How's your training going, son?

Vivaan: It's great. I've learned many things here. It's like watching a realistic space movie. It's fun.

Dad: So, are you planning to come back to India or settle down there?

Vivaan: I would love to stay here, Dad! I can't tell you how much I love this place.

Once my internship is over, I'll be looking for a job and then rent an apartment where the three of us could live happily ever after (You, I, and Mriga - Vivaan thought to himself).

Dad: Three? Who's the third person? Have you found a girlfriend there?

Vivaan: What? No, Dad! I don't have a girlfriend.
